Applegate Christian Fellowship reviews
22We are on the road and we’re so thrilled to go to this church after waiting for years as we went online to see their service times they are forcing people to request admission because of their states illegal mandate due to covid. This saddens me deeply. We are not going to make it to hear the good news at this church. We will be heading to John MacArthurs church in California instead.
I want to visit. My favorite podcast to listen to daily. “Hope Generation” with Ben Courson. I also enjoy Jon Courson sermons and commentaries for Bible Study time. Very sound teachers of the Word.
I always love to come and hear Pastor Corson teach from God's word when I am in Southern Oregon.
Grew up going to this church and I'm finally back! I love it and look forward to coming here multiple times a week, such a great place with wonderful people and an amazing God who is the top focus at this church!
This church is not worth your time.
I have watched people (myself included) go through severe damage because of it. The pastors are cold and unapproachable.
The church only cares about you if they get some kind of benefit out of it. Once that's gone they throw you into the numbers.
They do not live out what they preach.
At all.
I have sat and listened to them go on and on about how we need to forgive, and yet when you do one thing wrong, it's over for you.
Please save yourself from heartache and find another church.
Applegate has gotten too big for Its self.
It is so refreshing seeing the body of Christ at work and working together. It is also a wonderful thing to be spiritually fed at the same time. Jon Courson has a simply practical approach to teaching the word of God. I'm so blessed listing to his teachings.
Thank You so very much for all your online content. God bless you Applegate Fellowship.
In the early 90's, I was blessed to be a part of the Applegate Christian Fellowship for 5 years, before moving back home. So many families made my family home. Jon's mother was so gracious, as was Tammy. I worked in the nursery, also, and changed Ben's diapers!
This church changed my life.
The Ecklers, the Smiths, the Shroys, I am forever grateful.
After seeing several members mistreated and their lives valued as nothing but a number to the church. We have had a few personal issues where we felt mistreated and now witnessing more people hurt by this church and their failure to make right after making members feel so unwelcome. We will never attend this church and watching Joe Strobel get away with his actions is beyond unacceptable. Your wrong doings to everyone will not go unseen by god. Sad what was once a great church turned into a unwelcoming profit center.
An atmosphere of love and kindness words cant describe. I will forever be greatful for this church and those that attend here.
This church has done so much damage so now 4 people I know. It’s sad to watch them be treated like Such garage they had voiced their concerns and their only option was to leave the church with no peaceful resolution. Watching Joe Strobel be inappropriate with children and not one senior pastor care about his actions affecting numerous people. Watching him over the years has disgusted me and this church. Until they fix the problem nobody’s kids are safe it’s only getting worse. The pastor Jon Courson is to busy to care about the problems in his church. What is sad is the many people that are turned away for help when needed. A simple request to pastor Jon isn’t worth his time.
Loved this place, great preacher. Spoke like a father to the people. Could see his love for the people. Friendly people.
We've been going here off and on since 1998. The Pastor's teach in an open, biblical way that easily applies to modern Life. The people are warm and welcoming. BTW it's beautiful also.
Upon entering church Sunday, morning on Feb. 3rd 11am service I asked to see the prayer room as I was hoping to have someone anoint me with oil and pray for my physical healing from two back fusion surgeries. So here comes Jake Sartain the young man who five years ago oversaw our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. How perfect it was to have Jake praying for me. But the best part I came home and put away my walker, walking better, feeling stronger. Yes God did a work in my body with Jake's prayer. Thank you Jesus
Great message reminder God gave he on.om y son for us. That he loves us that much. So powerful reminder. God Is love
The pastor's always deliver a clear message. Vary warm and Godly feeling when I go. I always want more of the bible and God when I leave!
I've gone to this church every Sunday and Wednesday since I was three, and I have to say that any other church I've been to is not nearly as powerful and amazing, this church is blessed by God. I also love "the burger thing" it's absolutely awesome.
A great place to go and worship the Lord, full of loving and caring people. Lovely amphitheater and baptism area.
Wow! Most beautiful and amazing church! Outdoor amphitheatre is breathtaking, the indoor sanctuary is river lodge style, all with the amazing teaching of Jon Courson!
Stunning grounds. So well kept up, so beautiful the outside ampitheater is gorgeous. The sanctuary has a backdrop through glass behind the stage that shows the garden.wow.very good teaching to boot
The Lord's presence is in this place. Come and be linked to the body of Christ; you'll be blessed. Guaranteed!
