Definitely one of the better places to get gas and grab coffee in the mornings. Staff is friendly and does their jobs well. I go out of my way sometimes just to get gas here instead of most other places around town

I was verbally assaulted by an extremely aggressive attendant for cleaning the bugs off of my headlights with the squeegee. After driving all day I got a hotel for the night nearby. Early in the morning, it was still dark and I was filling up for the next leg of my cross country road trip. My windshield and headlights were absolutely covered in bugs from the previous day of driving. I first cleaned my windshield and then was doing a quick clean of the headlights when I hear this person yelling at me to stop. At first I thought it was a homeless person since they were screaming at me over by the street and not near the main building. I saw that they were wearing a reflective vest and they went on about how I couldn't wash my entire car (I wasn't). I said I was just washing the headlights because it was dark and they are literally covered in bugs. They threatened to make me pay for the squeegee and started marching towards me. My girlfriend was in the car and terrified of this person, she told me she wanted to leave. I had already paid so I immediately got back in the car and left before they came close enough to engage in any sort of physical confrontation. The person was on the smaller side with dark hair but I didn't want it to escalate. It was the most bizarre experience and left us both confused as to what had just happened. This is Oregon and I am not from there, so maybe there is a rule about cleaning your headlights that I am not aware of. I find that unlikely though because I would consider that a safety factor. I did learn that they had just recently allowed the public to pump their own gas, so I suppose anything is possible. Regardless, this "attendant" is definitely unstable and I believe it likely that I am not the only one that has had a run in with them. If I lived in the area I would definitely avoid this place. I rarely do reviews but even after a couple of weeks I felt the need to let others know about this encounter so that they can avoid a similar experience and hopefully the manager or owner will see this and provide some training to this aggressive attendant. If there is a ban on cleaning headlights at gas station in OR, please let me know.

10/7 6am. Greenwood location.
Last week I had an attendant request to shut off my engine while he pumped. It’s not an unreasonable request at all. However the tone in his voice while making the request was not very friendly. I complied and shut it off. But then I noticed he was on his cell phone standing right next to the pump as it was pumping. I remembered hearing about how static electricity can cause an explosion while pumping. So I mentioned that he probably shouldn’t be on the cell phone while pumping. His reply was that this theory had been proven wrong, that cell phones don’t cause explosions. I suppose he missed the point. He’s at work and staring at his phone. I’m not sure if the owner allows this but it just doesn’t look very professional. On top of that, I do not know if it would cause an explosion or not, but why risk it?
Today I went back and the same attendant asked me to turn off the engine and I did without question. He likely remembered me from last week and was literally holding his cell phone next to the nozzle while it was pumping gas, as if he was testing the theory or trying to blow us up. In any case, he’s using his cell phone texting and surfing the web while he’s supposed to be working. As I mentioned before, I don’t know if a cell phone would cause an explosion but I know static electricity can cause it. A cell phone is an electronic device, so again.why risk it.
There are procedures in place to prevent explosions at the pump, including turning the vehicle off.which I totally understand but how often does it happen? And how many attendees really ask people to turn it off? In my experience only one person in a year requests that. The other safety procedures include not having anyone inside the vehicle as it’s being pumped and I’ve never in 30 years been asked to step out of my vehicle as it’s being pumped.
I totally get it that if someone wants the car to be off because they think they will die they can just ask to turn it off. When I asked him not to be on a cell phone while pumping though, my request was not fulfilled. Instead to spite me the very next time I see him he put the cell phone 2 inches from the tank entrance. He was a taller guy working at 6 am this morning.

I get we can pump our own gas which I usually do but I wasn't driving because I was just getting back from ER with an in sling in bag shape. My friend driving says we need some help but the attendant is too busy walking around eating his Pringle chips. Then he finally does pump and here's it click off but no we wait as he scarfs the rest of his Pringles. Slob McBob we will call him, you should be ashamed of yourself. Even as a teenager in my generation you worked hard in preparation to get any job. Arco who the heck is responsible for this hire?
Seriously look at your cameras and ask is this your company pride?

I’ve been a customer since this station opened. Your employee Heather at the pumps is amazing. It should be mentioned that I’ve seen customers on many occasions treat her very poorly. She tries to be patient with them but at the same time stands her ground. Good for her. She’s always hustling and taking good care of many cars at the same time and seems to be loyal to Arco. I would hire her away from Arco in a heartbeat. Good for you Arco for having such a great team member!

It was super busy and our pump was having a technical issue but two employees took time to get us to another pump during the chaos.

Very rude employee. Woman with short black hair. Harassed me at the pump after I asked if I could pump my own gas. Told me that she was glad I was the type of person to steal peoples jobs. I don’t plan on coming back.

Fast service cheap gas. Always in n out very quickly. It's usualy pretty busy but here but 9 out of 10 times I can pull right up to a pump. Sometimes there's a wait to be helped but it's not usually too bad. Stores always clean and employees r helpful with a smile on their face.

Would share details of having an employee coughing in my face. Scratching side of my truck while hacking (thought he was throwing up) in bed of my truck. Just happened 9 June 2023. Review "magically disappeared ''.

Love this gas station. Always the lowest gas prices especially if you pay with cash. I think they should label directions for their pump entrance tho. Even tho it's a pain in the you-know-what, there wouldn't be people driving aimlessly around the building trying to find a spot to pull in. (Just as someone pulls in front of them taking their well deserved space to get gas, as yours is on fumes and your afraid your gonna run out before they scoot up and let you into a pump opening)

I keep forgetting that OR is one of the few states that require an attendant at the pump. The guy that helped me was awesome, friendly and cool. Wish them a great holiday season!
