Area Floors

I have worked with Area Floors now on several projects and they always deliver outstanding service. Most recently Kara at the Clackamas location saw me through the design of our new backsplash and she was incredible. She wrangled in my design decision overload and helped me land on something simple and elegant for what is sure to be an eye catching install. Would definitely recommend (and have)!

Called for info never heard back.
Called Clackamas store week later got info in ten minutes.

I went into Area Floors LO showroom on a Saturday morning. I had no idea what was what, in the world of tile. Luckily Kara was working that day and was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She pulled sample boards, ordered samples, contacted companies to answer questions, and coordinated with our contractor when needed.
I visited other tile stores, but never remotely experienced this kind of service. We are doing a whole bathroom remodel, with tiled floors, trim, and bath surround. Trying to choose and coordinate tiles is not easy. Even when I felt exhausted and a bit overwhelmed, Kara was always gracious and helpful. She even offered to stay late when we were up against a deadline. Amazing service!
I knew I would order all of our tiles from Area Floors with the service I received and the confidence I had in them. Thank you Kara, can’t wait to send you a photo of our remodel once it’s complete!

Kara, helped pick out tile for my new shower and flooring for my bathroom. It was a fun procedure, she understood what I was looking for and we could the perfect selection of all of the parts needed.
I would definitely recommend them, they have such a large inventory and great selection.
I am looking forward to getting my project started and finished.

Jill was the customer agent who warmly and enthusiasticly greeted us immediately upon our entrance into the Clackamas Area Floors showroom. (We had previously been in this store when we were searching for new laminate flooring.) Jill listened to us and quickly directed us to the location of quartz countertop samples. Perhaps due to modern trends in whites and grays, there were not as many samples of the colors we were searching for, but we did consider three. Jill took our information and informed us of the time frame we would be looking at for ordering, having a template made and then the installation. Sure enough, within 24 hours we had the estimates.
Although we did not pursue our purchase, Jill did follow up to ask how we were progressing with our project. Way to go, Jill.

I am so thankful for everyone at the Clackamas location. Very knowledgeable and Uber friendly. These people know their materials and have amazing ideas, when you are stuck.
I ended up choosing luxury vinyl tile, 12x24, in my bathrooms, hall and master closet, and I am very happy with the product and the results.

I did not get a chance to work with Area Floors, but I can comment on their customer service level over the phone. When calling to get a reminder of pricing for some of their products, which I was told in store a few weeks prior, I was told they could email some details but I could not order this product until my contractor set up an account. That's completely understandable; my only goal had been to get a reminder of the pricing estimate they told me in person a few weeks earlier so that I could decide if it was worth it to ask him to go to the effort to set up an account. This seemed reasonable given I'd received the very information I wanted just a few weeks earlier.

The person I spoke with told me should could email me an idea of pricing but I couldn't place an order until my contractor set up an account. Again, I understand that. 2 minutes later, however, she called to tell me she couldn't send that pricing without a contractor name, and rather than allowing me to say anything, such as my contractor's name, she HUNG UP on me. It was astonishing. The manager answered when I called back later, but while she said she was sorry, there was no assurance that that lack of customer service skills would be addressed or that this level of rudeness bothered them.

I understand this store/location is not a retail store, but treating anyone that rudely is never okay, particularly when all I was trying to say in response was the information she wanted.

They are very knowledgeable of their products and work well with you to find exactly what you need. Would send anyone looking for flooring there. Great customer service.

Area Floors sold my client some tile that would not physically work with the field tile she ordered. They made a mistake, they aknowledged that they made a mistake, yet they still would not re-imburse us for the purchase. They claim to be proffessionals, but what they are is snooty, arrogant, and aloof. There are tons of tile stores in town, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you are in need of a proffessional.

I had a great experience! At Area Floors We needed materials for a kitchen remodel and Lisa B is fantastic! She took time listened and answered all of my design questions and Had great ideas for material choices tailored to my likes! And my kitchen really came together great! It was really fun and she is so easy to work with!
