Dr. Hoyt and Erica, as well as your front reception person, were all professional, thorough and welcoming. I consider Artisan Eyeworks a refreshing change from the sour optometrist I saw elsewhere in Ashland.

Artisan Eyeworks is a very friendly, helpful people that work there. They work with you and make sure you get the best care needed

I recently tried to get a new pair of glasses here. The manufacturer had issues that kept delaying the delivery of the glasses (which I don’t blame Artisan Eyeworks for) for over 3 and half weeks. I would say Artisan Eyeworks communication about those issues was subpar with almost no communication during that time. The glasses finally arrived but were not the model that I ordered. Fortunately the staff was kind enough to issue a refund with no issue which I do appreciate. I will also add that the staff was very helpful in person. My polite suggestion would be that they do more research about some of the brands they offer before selling them.

-They carry some interesting frames though I would say they offer a mid tier variety.
-Overall I’d say my experience was slightly below average. I would not recommend them over a larger optometrists office unless they carry a unique frame that you like.

I’ve come in a couple of times to have frames that I purchased elsewhere fitted to me properly. Each time I was graciously helped quickly and for free. They have some really beautiful, albeit pricey frames for sale. Wish I could get my parents into some of their looks.

I love going to a doctor where you aren't herded through a maze by multiple aides. Prompt and individual attention at every visit. The optician, Kate, is amazing. Her cordial demeanor and caring attention to detail is great.
The only drawback is that they are located in Ashland.

Really friendly staff, huge selection of unique, artsy styles and the ol' standards. These are high quality. I probably tried on like a pairs of glasses. They were totally chill about that AND sanitize every pair before reshelving.
I am very indecisive with some things so I have to really think about which pair I will choose but I am glad that I found the place that I will purchase from.

Dr. Michael Hoyt and the staff at Artisan Eyeworks are welcoming, professional and very knowledgeable. Plus they have an AMAZING selection of frames. Can't wait to get my new purple frames! I would recommend Artisan Eyeworks to anyone needing an eye exam.

I needed to get my glasses adjusted.feeling that they were a little too close to my face, due to the need to clean them way too frequently. & deduced that my eyelashes were getting the lenses goopy... Erica very cheerfully made the adjustment, tightened them up and gave them a super cleaning. Absolutely Awesome*. So much appreciated **

. When I inadvertently got a bit of very thick oil on the lenses, any of my own resources would have damaged the lenses. But Artisan Eyeworks has a very special process for precision cleaning! I am so thankful to live in close proximity!

Once again, I really appreciate Kate's good care and experienced service.
That she asked about my typical activities, and was then able to determine what proportions to give to my prescription,
and then when the glasses came in, patiently adjusted the fitting for best usage, makes all the difference in the world.

Top notch eyewear, great service and I really appreciate the education in how to care for the product. But then afterwards, when I suddenly developed a pretty urgent eye "issue", I was amazed to be able to get a very timely and thorough appointment... All much appreciated

Very thorough and responsive, the doctors and the staff made adjustments to make sure that both my contact and eyeglass prescriptions gave me the best vision possible. Great selection of frames, too.
