Grabbed a delicious gluten free & vegan chocolate cupcake during my visit to Astoria and it was delectable! Awesome service and yummy baked goods!

This is a fantastic place! The food is so good that we will always plan to stop by anytime we are in Astoria! Try it! You’ll be hooked!

Vanilla rose latte is good but otherwise this wasn't a great experience. If you're going to add automatic gratuity for toasting a bagel and then plopping it in a to-go box with a blob of cream cheese, lox, and other toppings without including a knife, at least have the courtesy of telling me that's what you're going to do so I can take myself somewhere else. The bagel was meh as well and the guy behind the counter just kept telling me he couldn't hear me without consideration to maybe turn down his music.

I highly recommend this local gem. Whether you're a local or tourist, go here! My take out breakfast burrito was excellent - very fresh and amazing flavors. Everything is homemade using quality ingredients. Jim Defeo, the proprietor and chef, was very friendly and accomodating.

I enjoy the 5 buck lunches. I practically go everyday. My favorite is the turkey bacon club. Thank you very much for offering great meals.

Rude counter service followed up with a tough tasteless over cooked disappointment of a burger on stale bread. This place came highly recommended and turned out to be a regret.

Very nice people a the ceviche I had was very good.only knock, it's a little on the pricey side for what ya get. Ceviche and a soda was over $20.add a tip to that and you are well over the top for a "snack".

I have been coming to the coffee house for several years on a regular basis, this is one of our top 5 restaurants between the peninsula and Cannon Beach. The bartender is top notch and the staff is great. The environment is chill, you can belly up to the bar alone or with a friend if all the tables are full and service will still be on point. The food is quality and locally sourced, my favorite night is sushi nights!

Unfortunate experience, we only stopped by for coffee and were underwhelmed with the service. The barista was unhelpful and when asked for suggestions said he "didn't drink coffee. " The coffee itself wasn't terrible, but the service left a bad taste in our mouth and I would not recommend stopping by.

My favorite place in Astoria for breakfast. Eggs Benedict is the best. Excellent menu appealing to all diets. Good seating, and center bar. Wine selection one of the best. Great staff and never a bad meal. If you like fish tacos you need to try them here. Outside seating. Street parking. Hip place to be. Locals I know raved about this place when we moved to Astoria. They were right.

Food here is good. I had the fish tacos. They were flaky on the inside and crisp on the outside. My wife had the veggie burger and it was very good but the bun was too big. The coffee here is fantastic. Ambiance is great, especially in the area that is sidewalk seating. Service was ok - good came out fast.

Decline in service, medium wine list, appetizers were fair, entries were very medium and overpriced. Service slow and not helpful.

We always stopped here when we drive through the Oregon coast. I always looked forward to the burger and the atmosphere of the small and cozy place. Stopped in a few days ago and disappointed how the customer service has declined. There is no order when you enter the restaurant. There's a pad to sign your name but no one was in charge except the waitress. Wait time was about 10 min. No big deal. We are seated and given menus for breakfast. It's 11: 25 and we tell the waitress, we would like the lunch menu. She says we'll it doesn't start till 11: 30. My wife says it's a few minutes away. The waitress looks annoyed and says ok, I'll bring the lunch menu. Pretty sure she was upset because she was the only server. I understand that but you're still providing customer service. Got our menus and no water for the kids. We are sitting there about 10 minutes now starting at the menu and parched beyond belief. The waitress walks by and still no eye contact. We finally get our water and decide what we want for lunch. She walk by numerous times, not acknowledging our presence. We notice other diners getting up and stealing silverware off other tables because they didn't feel like eating with their hands and who knew when she would visit their table again. After sitting for 15 minutes, we tell her we are ready. She walks by and put her hand up and says, just wait, I'm coming right back. Geez. I work in customer service and it's not rocket science. If you're late or behind, inform your customers and let them know what the situation is. We get our order and the food was decent but add the bad service, it wasn't worth it. The youngest one was getting antsy so we leave the table and sit outside. I decide to get a coffee. Their coffee of the day is cheaper than the rest of the selections. I ask for an ice coffee of the day. 16oz their price on the board. $2.50. I get charged $3.75. Wow. No point in saying she made a mistake because the she too.didnt look like she wanted to be there. I get my overpriced coffee and we are heading out. Wife grabs the receipt and says we got overcharged for an additional meal. She makes her way to tell the barista since our waitress has disappeared. She informs the barista there's an error, "well ill just scratch it off". Geez, no oops, we made an error. None of the staff appeared like they wanted to work there and their actions came through. Considering how much they charge for their food, it's really not worth it if the customer service isn't there. We won't be coming back. Shame because when it was smaller and they didn't promote local, the service and food was stellar.

The biscuits get served before dinner get 5 stars.the rest of the meal gets 2 stars, at best. The presentation was visually pleasing, but that good experience was ruined by the first bite. The fondue appetizer had a puddle of grease floating on top. The marinated beet salad tastes like they opened a can of pickled beets and onions from Costco and dumped it on some fresh greens. The coleslaw was dripping in dressing. Three of us went together to dinner, ordered 3 different dishes and an appetizer. The best comment on the meal was "it's.okay. " This used to be a great place to eat, but doubt I will ever go back for dinner again.

Food was not good, especially compared to the price. This came highly recommended but we were disappointed by the food quality. The chicken in my curry dish was browned, crusty and dry. It also upset my stomach so their kitchen hygiene is lacking. My spouse’s Mac and cheese was not as good as an average homemade version. The service was fine. The decor is nice. The rap music is an odd choice.

We loved it. Its much more than a coffee shop with terrific food. We ordered salmon in an omelette and a bagel with lox! Both were delicious, perfect size portions, and carefully presented. We sat at little bistro tables available outdoors. It's a comfortable place with good food. What more could you want!

Its portland. In Astoria. Complete with insecure rude service, mediocre coffee and high prices. The outside seating is nice though.

The coffee is overpriced, and the service is either great or horrible. The food however is really good! The Tuna poke is my favorite!

Female waitress was a b*tch. Took forever to take our order, then was so condescending when my daughter didn’t understand the question asked of her.
Food arrived and after serving us we were completely ignored.
Finished our food and waited for the check. She walked past us three times without asking if we wanted the check despite us attempting to get her attention; then she just walked out of the restaurant!
I finally got up and asked the other waiter for the check. He was most gracious and apologized for her behavior, promptly got us the check and were gone in 5 minutes. No more waiting for her.

Service was prompt and pleasant although the space itself is a little run down at the heels. The soup was an unusual combination of flavors but was hearty and obviously homemade. The hummus, on the other hand, appeared to be made from lentils rather than chickpeas, had the consistency of chunky peanut butter and was absent both lemon and tahini.
