AT&T Store reviews
17The sales rep Leo and his manager Mariah spent 2 hours patiently working through a long series of problems to get my service and phone number transferred over. Leo was friendly and helpful the whole way through, patiently explaining and re-explaining the math on promotions and service charges. They both worked hard to find me the products that I wanted and made the experience smooth and pleasant. I couldn't have asked for better help.
We came into the mall 205 location in Portland because of Dana L. She has helped us in the past and is so friendly, and knowledgeable. She is a great accent to your company!
Brandon was awesome! He went above and beyond to make sure our family could stay connected while we are coping with new medical and disability challenges. His concern was genuine and we truly appreciate working with him at this store.
Nathan was a fantastic sales rep. He helped me from the moment we entered the store until the very end. He made sure we were comfortable with our decision and what our best options were. Thanks Nathan. I look forward to interacting with you in the future.
The worst customer service experience ever! It doesn’t even deserve one star. I traded in my old phone for the Galaxy Fold3 earlier this week, the phone worked great for 3 days. The camera app disappeared so I thought maybe if I did a reset it would fix it. Phone powered off but wouldn’t power back on and it no longer will charge. One store (NE Broadway location) was going to just swap me out a replacement but didn’t have one in stock. Going through a Samsung authorized service center was not an option because their techs haven’t been certified to work on the Fold3 yet. The sales rep (NE Broadway location) called several stores to try and locate a replacement with no luck. So the sales rep had to order a new phone. I was told to try calling a couple locations myself. So I called this store, I was told they had a couple Fold3s. I told the rep I was coming down to do a warranty exchange. I was told “Sure come on down and will see what we can do”. So I drove out to this store and was greeted by a sales rep, after explaining why I was there. I was told that they didn’t have a Fold3 in stock. After confronting her on that LIE, a Fold3 magically appeared in their stock room. From that point, she basically did everything not to help me. Telling me I had to go to a service center for a warranty exchange. Advised her tried that, techs are not certified to work on the Fold3 yet. Then telling me she could replace it but I would be charged a ridiculous re-stocking fee? (The phone is broken) She said insurance was an option but oh the phone doesn’t power on so we wouldn’t be able to remove your personal information off the phone. Also I would have to pay the deductible. At that point I just walked out of the store. She had a Fold3 sitting on the table and did nothing to help me. One store was willing to go the extra mile but this store not so much. Not even an apology for the issue I was going through. 20+ years being a loyal customer with ATT gets you nowhere. Seriously, Verizon around the corner looks very appealing right now!
Aaron was great helping us with upgrading our phones. And helping us with our account questions!
He helped us unscramble some wrong information.
He was friendly and clear in his assistance to us. Keep him.
Brandon is a fast and efficient employee. Answered everything with ease and made the upgrade flawless
Didn't get anything I wanted, guy told me I had to start a new plan to reactivate a line on my account and screwed everything up.
My reasons are because Aaron, the sales rep, did a great job breaking down the billing for me and a gal came and helped as well, which displayed leadership and teamwork. Both reps were genuine and awesome. I also overheard another rep who had amazing patience with a customer who needed it and I was impressed, forsure. This is the most amazing interaction and service I've received from an AT&T Rep and I'm grateful for it. Thank you!
Aaron is the person that helped us and of all the people that we have been to and asked for help from from your organization he has been by far and away the most helpful the most personable and I’m telling you you should give that guy a promotion and a raise
Although the Apple 13 ProMax I wanted was out of stock, Brandon was incredibly helpful in ordering it for me. He took the time to explain the process, when to expect it to arrive and how to activate it. He also explained how to transfer all the information from my old phone to the new one in a way that even a Luddite like myself could understand. Go, Brandon!
This dude was great he answered all her questions super friendly super polite very helpful went out of his way to help us out and if I ran this company this would be the kind of person I would want working for me and I would definitely give them a raise to keep them
Since AT&T is retiring their 3G network in Feb 2022, I received one of their "free" phones in the mail since I guess their records show that I'm using a very old smartphone. However, I'm actually using an unlocked, 4G-LTE capable smartphone (OnePlus 5T). It's perfectly fine for the network change, meaning it will be compatible when the 3G service goes offline.
That being said, when I stopped by this AT&T corporate store, the sales representative was unwilling to accommodate my request to keep using my current phone on the AT&T network. Instead, he told me to either use the replacement phone or buy a new phone. I wasn't too happy, so I left.
Once home, I opened the replacement phone and activated the sim. Popped it in my current phone and although I receive signal, I can't make outgoing calls or use data. So, I hope making a call to 611 (Customer Care) during business hours and asking them to change the IMEI number they have on file to the one on my current phone will be possible. I don't need a new phone. My current one works fine.
Sidenote: I got the typical run-around of false information between 611 (Customer Care), reseller and corporate store. It's to be expected from these utility companies.
Update: I got it to work by calling 611, although I wish I could have done it in-store.
Aaron was THE BEST. I've been in customer service in one form or another for 20 years. I haven't been as impressed with an individual's ability to make me feel comfortable, keep me feeling confident, and satisfied from start to finish as I was with Aaron's. He did everything in his power. He went above and beyond. And I really appreciate it. Thank you very much Aaron.
Ryan was experienced, professional and efficient - he recognized I had been given a SIM that didn’t match records and corrected it.
Alex greeted me the moment I walked in the store. He was professional friendly, and knowledgeable about cell phones. Getting my service switched over to a new iPhone took about 20 minutes and was easily the most seamless enjoyable experiences I’ve had in an AT&T store. Would highly recommend this store and their representative Alex.
Ryan is a superstar and helped me so much. Professional. Friendly. And explained everything very clearly to me. I highly recommend working with him!
