Made an appointment w Kelly. She did a great job on my roots and she styled my hair perfectly. I didn't do any other service. But I'd return to her! I noticed they had a beautiful spa there as well! Looking forward to trying that some day.

I received an incredible haircut by Katie. She listened to me, and checked in with me multiple times throughout my haircut to make sure it was meeting my needs. Will be back again to schedule with Katie! Super friendly front desk staff.

Loved my haircut with David. He's a really nice guy and has a ton of experience as a hairstylist. I gave him a pretty unhelpful description of what I wanted and he managed to give me exactly the cut I was hoping for!

It really bothers me when a professional high end nail salon doesn't have the proper equipment or product to do the job.
No drying oil for regular nail polish and now fan to help dry your nails I was told the polish would dry in 5 minutes which of course it did not. It takes much more time.
I pulled down my leggings and the newly done nails smudged of course. Really sucks!

I had my lashes lifted and tinted. It was a very comfortable and clean place. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. The service worked out great. I can't wait to try other services!

I use this salon about every five weeks and I love the work that Rose does. She always tries to give me the cut that I want, and she makes sure that my color suits me.

She also helps me out with ideas to solve hair and eyebrow problems.

The front desk staff are really helpful and nice. It makes a difference! They will phone around other clients to see if they can fit you in a particular spot when you have a problem with your appointment time. ️

As soon as I walk in, I was welcoming with a smile. The front desk receptionist was very friendly. Donica my hairdresser was friendly and experienced with my hair type. I am very satisfied with the job she did!

Katie was amazing with both of my kids today! They were both nervous and she helped them calm down and managed to give them super cute cuts despite their wiggles. I highly recommend Katie. Will definitely go back.

I've gotten my hair cut here multiple times buy different stylist until Jade who was so fun to sit with, talk too and she did amazing on my hair!

My experience over the last 1.5 years has been very mediocre. I have had appointments with 3 different stylists. The first one did an excellent job cutting my hair. When I wanted to book a second appointment, she no longer was there. I tried a second stylist, who gave me an average haircut. She didn’t really listen to my concerns and seemed to rush through my cut- in and out in 35 minutes. I gave her a second opportunity and that cut was worse than the first one she gave me. At this point I was ready to move onto another salon. I was disappointed in the lack of consistency and quality of training the stylists seem to have at Avalon. I tried a different salon only to have that stylist shatter her shoulder and was unable to work. So, I thought I would give Avalon one last try. I was connected with a very experienced stylist who gave me an average cut - I had a total of three haircuts with her that went from average to well below average. The shape didn’t seem to last more than 2 weeks before I looked like I needed another cut, the proportions were off and the cuts just never seemed right. I even had to go back for adjustments once, I have never had to do this before. I just don’t think the techniques used are detailed or accurate enough. I expect more from supposed AVEDA trained stylists and for the prices they charge at Avalon.
The front desk staff has been different every time I have had an appointment. The behind the counter conversations I have overheard while waiting has been inappropriate, the welcome has been lukewarm at best - wash your hands in the sink, and have a seat.
I feel like I have given this salon numerous tries and have to say I am done. Maybe I should have been tipped off by how easy it is to get an appointment at Avalon - one time they even sent a promotional email for discounted services to fill their stylist slots. The best stylists in town are either not taking new clients or are booked a month or more in advance.

I booked a 60 min full body massage with Jennifer and it was so relaxing from the spa waiting room to the hour long massage! Jennifer was so kind and really helped me relax! It was my first experience there and I will definitely be going back!

They did a good job on my hair, but they originally quoted me for $200 over the phone and while I was in the chair… and then afterwards it ended up being $390 and I left a tip on top of that. Thats a huge discrepancy and it was embarrassing having to transfer money over from a different account because I hadn’t planned on it being so much so unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

I had an amazing facial with Kelly. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience. Highly recommend.
