What a Fantastic Chef and kitchen crew. The food is perfectly prepared. The Chef Mark has put his flavors out for you to try. Great outdoor seating as well. Mark has put his mark out to be one of the best restaurants in West Linn.

Great surprises in a strip mall. Great atmosphere and food. Dark, kinda moody dining room. Pendant lights, metal and dark wood decor - but still casual. White tablecloth menu without the table cloths. Entre prices $30 to $40. Tried the Mahi Mahi as well as the hanger steak. Both very nice.

Great little find, had a very nice dinner, fillet was perfectly cooked and the sauce was nice. The halibut was also very well cooked and again, the accompanying sauce was creative and complimentary to the dish. The sides were also really good. The staff were very nice and helpful, and they had a good winelist and variety of cocktails. The atmosphere was nice for its location. Recommended.

This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is spectacular, the pork is seriously the best pork we have had in our lives, we order it every time we come. The mushroom soup was outstanding. The drinks are always exceptional. It’s always nice talking to the chef when sitting near the kitchen, you can tell he really cares about what he makes, about the restaurant, and the customers.
We are in love with this place. This is where my husband and I come every chance we get when my in-laws can watch our kids, it’s our favorite date night spot. We are so lucky it’s right here in West Linn! 10/10!

Absolutely amazing! We've been here three times and each time it's gotten better. But this last time we went. WOW! It's just world-class, gourmet food at a chef-owned restaurant in West Linn. I would recommend something but we all had different dishes and they were all perfectly executed at every level. Atmo is nice and surprisingly elegant.

10/10 on every single item we ordered. Service, food, atmosphere. This food is so delicious, very much worth the higher price tag. This is our favorite restaurant in west linn!

We had the kale salad and the pork chop. Both were amazing. One of the best meals in Portland area.

I was looking for a nicer restaurant in West Linn, than bar food. I found it. I’ve been back 5 times. Every meal and appetizer has been excellent! Thank you.

What a fabulous restaurant. You'll rarely find cuisine anywhere as superb. The owner Mark rivals any chef in the U. S.

We went last night for a date night and was blown away - food and service was awesome. We are foodies and always hit up the best restaurants we can find but after moving to West Linn 2 years ago, we have been missing the NE and SE restaurants... Until now. You could put them up against pretty much any place in Portland and we are so excited to have a good option in our hood. Don't be turned off by the location - they actually have a cute outdoor area and the inside is well set up and comfortable. I had the mahi mahi and am still dreaming about it - and cannot wait to go again.

Exceptional menu in the modern designed restaurant at the edge of a shopping center. Nice outdoor patio to complement the tastefully decorated interior. The sautéed shrimp with capellini was a standout and the daily special of grilled Alaskan salmon was superb.

We came to Avanti based on the reviews and photos and the meal was excellent. This was our second anniversary dinner. We had cocktails, ate seafood dishes paired with the recommended wines and desert/digestives and it was all top notch. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful and it was clear that they all enjoy working at Avanti. We eat at a lot of restaurants and are usually disappointed. Avanti far exceeded our expectations and we left agreeing “It was so good, it was so good! ”

The food is just out of this world incredible. From the texture to the length it is cooked to the sauces that are used you just keep eating the food and you literally do not want to stop. Highly impressed. This is by far one of the best restaurants in the Portland Metro area. 7 stars if I could.

Overall delicious! The entrées were cooked well but under seasoned. We should have asked for salt but the server was pretty busy and didn't come back over until our meal was gone. I had the nightly special, braised Alaskan halibut. I didn't taste the saffron and the whole tomatoe chunked into 4 was a nice compliment to the fish, flavor wise. But for a $42 meal I would have expected heirloom tomatoes or just something different. My husband had the tenderloin filet nightly special. The steak was cooked perfectly and he really enjoyed the demi. He said either the steak needed more seasoning or there needed to be more demi. The appetizer arancini, fried risotto cake filled with pork and goat cheese was perfectly seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic, big props to the bartender! I had an espresso Martini and a dirty Martini, both amazing! My husband had the pinapple mule and really enjoyed it.

Every week we are here usually on Wednesday night. We’re going to try Thursday. It seems that whatever night we show up it fills up! I’ll tell you it’s the food! The servers are great, the bartenders know what to do so the combo makes it super cool along with the music overhead. We will continue our weekly visits! See you there!

We came here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff and owner were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. Great venue and location.

Staff was great. We all really enjoyed our meals. Nice wine list that was very reasonable.
