We just had a terrible experience with Baker Boots & Clothing.

We placed an order a month ago, trusting the assurance from Michelle that it would arrive in time for our upcoming trail adventure. Unfortunately, this has proven to be entirely false.

Now, just a few days before our departure, we find ourselves without the necessary boots for this specific adventure. This oversight has left us with no alternative but to face this excursion unprepared.

This level of service and miscommunication is inexcusable. We relied on Baker for our footwear needs and were met with nothing but letdowns. I strongly caution anyone considering using this service, as they cannot be trusted to deliver on their promises.

This experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and a complete waste of our time. I urge others to think twice before relying on Baker for their footwear needs.

Update: After my negative initial purchase, this review was the wakeup call needed. Kyle reached out individually as a leader and small business owner to understand and apologize for his staff's handling and communication of my order. His willingness to humble himself and use this interaction as a learning experience for his team is unheard of in large business. Kudos to Baker's Boots and I appreciate the real human beings behind this boot supplier. I look forward to a much improved experience and process the next time I order boots from Baker's.

Contrary to other postings from last year, there seems to be a decline in customer service from Baker's Boots. I ordered a pair of boots and instead of the 5-10 business days as advertised, I did not receive my boots for an entire month. When I emailed several times and called, I got responses that they would return my concern when the right person came to work. No upgrade in shipping when my boots finally got in from the manufacturer and they were already late. I should have just ordered off Amazon for $20 more. I tried to buy small-business and I got NO business. I WILL NOT be purchasing from them again, plenty of other distributors out there.

It's a cool boot store! They have a lot of choices. Which is good! But the sales person seemed almost annoyed that I didn't want to try on any lowa boots. I have bought from these guys 4 or 5 times in 10 years. Everytime a different sales person pushed this brand. I fell for it twice. But have found out it's not a great boot. At least for me. The soles are way to hard for PNW winter and debri on the ground. I think the same company soles their in-house brand of boots as well. They look identical. And feel the same. There are many good brands in here. Just don't let them push which one they must make the most on.

Bought a pair of MTO boots with Bakers and I was very happy with their service. Everyone I talked to was kind, knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help. Give them a chance if you’re in the market for some quality footwear!

They carry a decent selection of American made boots, socks, workwear etc. I will say that as far as sizing, they don't carry anything smaller than a men's 8. This a problem because their ladies selection is laughably small. Last time I went in looking for workboots they tried to tell me that thorogoods didn't make a boot in men's size 7, which was clearly wrong because I was wearing men's size 7 thorogoods at the time. Been going to bakers for 5 years, will keep going, maybe one day I'll even be able to by a pair of boots there.

First time buying from Bakers was great. Called in to ask about a sizing question for a pair of Whites Boots. Not only were they super helpful, they were exactly spot on. Just got my C350 Cruisers in today and they fit perfectly. Definitely going to take some getting used to the 55 last, but couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Went in and ordered a pair of thorogood boots was told 10 days!
here we are 3 weeks later.
I called them too check the order 3 times and have been told they were shipped and I’ll have them in a couple days.
Fast forward too today I call and am now being told I won’t get them till may!

Next time check availability instead of making a working man wait for his work boots. I’ll never go too baker boots again!

I've been needing a new pair of boots and figured I'd give a new local place a shot- big sign near the front door with a rifle on it that said "We don't fire warning shots. "

I figured I can find a place to buy boots that won't threaten to shoot me.

I have purchased several pairs of boots and shoes from Kyle and Brandon over the years. Always very satisfied. If you are looking for experienced and friendly folks to guide you into your next purchase.this is the spot.

I have bought several pairs of boots here, and had good experiences. I just had a pair of White's resoled, and they feel better than new, I am really happy with the work that was done. Thank you!

All I can say is, I'll recommend anyone looking for custom made boots to go through baker's boots. Brandon and Cheryl were both amazing. My tanker boots with steel toe are bad a**. I'll be ordering all my boots from here. First time customer and now a life long customer. THANK YOU BAKER'S BOOTS.

I went in to bakers boots for the first time a few days ago the wife and I and we both had a great time I got fitted (I always buy 10 1/2 turns out I'm an 11)

I went there to get new boots for work this evening on my way home. They were so helpful and made the process so easy. And I got some great boots. I recommend this place for work boots and they even gave a pair of comfy socks. Thanks again.

Probably the most important place to go to if you want to get boots for work or anything else you need boots for. They have the biggest selection of boots I have seen in Eugene Oregon. They have a really big floor with lots of displays.
