Banfield Pet Hospital, Eugene OR

Scared of my cat & unable to treat him on many occasions. Would not carry him out of store for me when I was on crutches. My cat carrier broke on my final visit there & the vet forced me to buy a new one & crutch to the very back of the store to get it.
It wasn't their fault they couldn't treat him on the final visit, but the customer service was atrocious. Received excuses & no information about my animal's health on many occasions.
Other Banfield locations better.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. We love our wellness plan. I've only been there about 2 times but they've so far taken great care of my Neo. They've been thorough, informative and seemingly efficient.

Edit: banfield replied to this review asking me to call them and explain what happened. When I called, a recording came on and said they are not taking calls and try back some other day. I guess I’m not surprised. Their reply to my review was only so others reading it would think they cared. I am currently stressing over weather my puppy is going to live or die (and no thanks to banfield because they refused to help me even when I had an appointment) and then they tell me to call them but don’t mention that they aren’t taking calls due to Covid. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a business be as unprofessional as this. Please for the love of god! Don’t use them! They don’t care!

I got a new puppy and made an appointment for him with banfield. The day before his appointment I got a reminder call about my appointment. Later that night (the night before our appointment) my puppy got sick so I took him to the emergency vet. We found out he had Parvo. We got the medicine to try and treat him at home as I didn’t have enough money for them to hospitalize him. The next morning I had a friend who was able to get care credit so we could hospitalize him. We called Bandield to see if they could treat him and they said I didn’t have an appointment so they would not help me. I did have an appointment and like I said before, they even called the day before to confirm it. We ended up having to take our pup to the Corvallis emergency vet as most vets around town said not to have him treated at the Springfield animal hospital because they don’t do a good job. If Bandield hadn’t have denied that I had an appointment with them then he could have gone to them rather than Corvallis. What they did is horrible and I hope no one brings their pets to them. This was so unprofessional and cold hearted.

I couldn’t even begin to say all that happened here. I’d give it a zero but you don’t have a choice. Been at Banfield for years. UNTIL I truly seen them for what they are. I almost lost my pup. Ella G

and caring people. I lived in the Eugene area for years and it wasn’t until after I moved from Eugene to Portland did I find Banfield by happenstance when I had an emergency the lil guy. Had I known about them when I lived in Eugene, I would have saved a lot of money and worry over his care. I now live in my hometown in Roseburg and we won’t go anywhere else. We love all of you at Banfield! He’s 14.5 and still going! You have taken such great care of our lil Ol fur dude which is Darrell! Thank you all so very very much!

They were so compassionate and caring when my cat was dying. They take fantastic care of my dog, too.

All the doctors here are great but Dr. Harmon is especially amazing. She always cares, she explains the process and is always helpful.

I am SO happy we found this vet! The prices are fair and they always get us in quickly but I really love it because of the staff. They always treat my dogs like their own and are great about making sure everyone is happy. When we had to have our baby put down recently Dr Garretson went above and beyond to help us. She sat on the floor with us for as long as we needed and was so unbelievably kind. It was such a hard thing to go through and she really helped. Then they sent a card that was personally signed by everyone and they all took the time to actually write out something. That was very touching and meant a lot to us.
When I bring my other baby in they take such great care of her. I never like to be away from her so it's great knowing she will be well cared for, especially if she has to be there for a few hours. I really can not say enough good things about Banfield on Willamette.

I am so thankful to have found this place! They are so good with my dogs. I have an aggressive dog and they handle him so well.

I adopted a sweet pup about 1.5 mos ago. She ended up getting out passed my 7yr old daughter and ran into the street getting hit by a car. She was extremely lucky just to have survived with no broken bones or internal injuries. They took really good care of my Buttercup. Dr. Wayland genuinely cares about animals and has a good heart. They also have treats for humans. Buttercup is healing well and will make a full recovery!

These guys take wonderful care of our babies Rocco and Callie Mae! I feel like they genuinely love each and every pet they see. I even saw them taking care of a hedgehog today. How cool is that? Thank you for taking such amazing care of our babies Banfield! All the docs and techs are FANTASTIC!

Only had 1 lady for exotic animals, which included my dwarf hamster. Cost me a bunch of money for her to look at him for a few minutes then tell me basically bad info. Turned out she was wrong about most issues and she couldn't even figure out what his major issues were. So after 200$ in visits and medication, he was still sick and eventually died way too young.

The staff are always great, especially during the end of two of our dog's lives, but it feels like they've been coached to up sell services.

We moved down to the area in March and have always taken our boys here back in Portland. We just got puppies in June and bring them here too. The staff and doctors are all amazing and are great with our fur babies, even if they don't really want to be there. Lol.

My Cat actually enjoys his annual checkups at Banfield. He's feels very comfortable and calm on his visits. Very recommended.
