I used to take my dog to this location, he was nearing end of life and I was devastated by the thought I wouldn't have my bestfriend by my side.
The staff confirmed that it was his time.they seemed to care but after we left my sweet boy rallied and I asked if we could have another medication refill just for two days because that's when we had our appointment to have a doctor from compassionate care come to our home.
When I was on the phone waiting for an answer this is what was said to me.
" we will do one last refill but that's it because you should have already put him down"
I was bawling instantly.how could you ever say that to someone losing a family member! It's taken me time to even write this.
I go to another location because I felt disrespected, this banfield was in a petsmart always around animals even when they aren't busy.pets are family & they should be treated with love and compassion.

Personally, I only use Banfield as an absolute last resort. We used to rely on these guys back in the day, but as the years went on and ever since covid this place doesn't really put much care towards the animals. As my dogs got older they consistently made me feel worse and worse evertime we went in. The front desk ladies are wonderful but the doctors are just in and out, no real belonging to that location. They don't listen to you as they should and are pretty into telling you what they think your doing. One of my dogs had pretty apparent cancer when I took him to another vet and Banfield just kept telling me everytime I was neglecting my dog and that's why he's sick. They also argued with me about my dogs age because their records were off by a few years and when I tried to remedy that the doctors basically told me I was incorrect.
If you need just plain old routine care and nothing invasive or no life threatening diagnosis you should be ok here. Please, please always get a second opinion for ANY DIAGNOSIS from here. Don't let them cause more harm to your animals as they did to me. Be diligent.

We've been with Banfield for almost 8 years and will be canceling our membership after dealing with this location. The staff is unkind, unprofessional and uneducated on their services. April and Michelle couldn't have treated us worse. The doctors take 10+ days to send refills requests to the pharmacy. Upcharged multiple times without the staff being able to explain why. Last minute cancellations without notice, staff not available at our 8 am appointments. Overall just poorly ran.

Took my very sick kitty in, and they really did everything they could for him. The following afternoon, his ultrasound found a mass in his intestines that had moved to involve his kidneys. They were honest and up front every step of the way, as well as compassionate and supportive. I would recommend Emergency Vet Clinic of Tualatin to anyone.

HORRIBLE customer service!
We’ve used banfield for years for many different pets. I will never go back.

They trap you with Wellness Plans and “upgrades” without telling you all the ways in which it traps you. Make an “upgrade” and decide you don’t want it a few days later before even using it? Tough luck. You’re stuck.

They have you sign “for the changes” and THEN give you all the fine print. This should be illegal.

Ask for help from customer service and you get bounced between hospital, to customer service line, to “banfieldcares” to Practice Manager and over and over again.

The Practice Manager here is the nastiest every bad word I can think of. I feel sorry for people who have to work with her. I finally got routed to an area manager of sorts who was no more helpful.

Lost a long time customer. I will tell everyone who will listen to avoid them. Hope they go out of business.

This is all aside from the other issues I’ve overlooked over the last 3 years. Don’t return phone calls. Extremely long waits for your scheduled appointments. Can no longer be with your pet during exams.

They have some GREAT doctors. I don’t know why they work for this company. They are worth so much more.

The most uncaring and un co-operative banfield. Our dog was extremely sick, we had an appointment and they refused to see us, we were 5 mins late. Banfield procides poor service and only charges monthly with no real care provided. We will be definitely exiting both our dogs from their “care”

The veterinary team is great. The vets there are always very helpful and knowledgeable with our dogs. You can really tell that they care about their work and the animals they help. However, their customer service is not great. We CONSTANTLY call to either get a prescription refilled, ask questions, set up appointments, and the calls go unanswered 90% of the time. I called for 3 days straight trying to get my dogs tic medicine refilled and nobody ever called me back, even after I left repeated voicemails. I finally had to make the trip down there just to ask them for a refill. It was very inconvenient. The phone and receptionist is not ideal and personally seem lazy at this point.

Dr Husby and Dr Peterson are really wonderful vets! The team at this clinic went above and beyond to assist me in a complicated banfield issue. Please never blame the policies or issues on the care providers at the clinic! Thank you wilsonville banfield.
