WORST FIRST HOME BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. IF YOU NEED PROOF I WILL PROVIDE IT.
I have been working with them for months now for months, and they told me they could close in 45 days and we are on day 70 with several extensions I have received my cds and am suppose to close tomorrow. I have had next to no communication with anyone. I have heard more information from the title company then I have my own bank people. I had one of bank of englands employees call me and ask if I am def or just don't know how to follow basic instructions.which is highly unacceptable behavior. I am working with them on several hundreds of thousand dollars and am a client and should not be treated or talk to like this. If you deal with a guy named Kenneth Barta refuse to work with him, Now I am out several thousands of dollars, they told me to give a 30 day notice to my landlord and now my 2 year old son and I have to pay a down payment and rent again plus find a new house.all because the seller said they have lost faith in our deal because I have never met a deadline that Bank Of England has said. TI am suppose to sign today and bank of England said I am not clear to close and will not provide me with a failure to finance letter to get my earnest money back.

I don’t write too many reviews but I think Nathan Akers, and his crew, deserve a shout out. I decided to refinance my home to take advantage of better interest rates and switch from FHA to a conventional loan. When I obtained my first loan (FHA), I knew nothing about mortgage loans and, quite frankly, feel like I got bulldozed over until it finalized. Needless to say I was a little apprehensive to do it all over again within 2 years. I decided to shop around and a friend referred me to Nathan Akers. I explained to Nathan my prior experience and he literally walked me through every step. Answered all my ignorant questions and totally made me feel like I wasn’t just another invoice for the month.
