Barley & Vine Tavern, Newberg OR

I love Barley for the drinks and the people. It's nice to have a spot like this in town.

Very friendly wine shop, food was amazing, it's like the neighborhood sit down wine social shop.

This place was recommended by the awesome tasting room staff at Soter Vineyards when I asked where they would go for lunch. Glad we stopped in, especially for the loaded carnitas nachos! Great selection of wines from all over the world and not to mention the beers on tap (mostly local brews). Service was great! The guy behind the bar (didn't catch his name unfortunately) was very nice and great to chat with. This place is on our radar when heading down the McMinnville in the summer time.

Great atmosphere, good beer, awesome employees. Makes you feel like home.

If overpriced, microwaved pub food is up your alley (with of course a few keywords sprinkled in like "artisan" to try to justify the price), Barley & Vine is for you. Likewise, if you like having a bartender look down their nose (and then virtually ignore you) because the high IBU beers aren't your thing, you'll feel right at home here. Now, if you are looking for ACTUAL good food (and more importantly, good service regardless of what you order) there are so many more options in Newberg- many somewhat close by. When they first opened, it was a great spot. It's sad to see how it's went downhill - both the menu and staff. Don't waste your time or money at this drab, overpriced, diner- you won't be missing anything.

Delicious drinks on tap, good food, and Sam provides excellent service with an even better smile. Definitely coming back. Also they have board games and sell Magic The Gathering cards.

Drinks are a great price and the food is amazing, can't recommend the quicos enough if you're a fan of corn nuts. Atmosphere is chill, welcoming, and fun. Sam was a fantastic bartender, very friendly but still let me do my own thing. Before now I've only ever gone to Social Goods but from now on I'll alternate between the two.

This is a great spot in Newberg for a bite and drink. There is a great selection of wine and beer. Plus the service is onpoint.

Everyone raves about the nachos… and man are they good! But so are their sandwiches and staff! Good beer list and fast becoming a top place for us.

What a chill place!
The back room is dynamite for a quiet little corner, the bar is friendly and busy, and the selections on tap are interesting.
The goat cheese is an absolute must if you're into that. Probably the best I've ever tried, and the nachos were so huge we actually laughed when they passed by us. A reminder that this is a kid, family, and group friendly place where you can stick around and play board games and take time to finish the plate!

We stopped in here to kill time and it turned out to be truly fantastic! They had a really deep selection of wines and beers and both the owner and staff had killer recommendations for us. The place had a great vibe, and the snacks were on point.
