2 There is a fee to park. You have to pay online, there is no kiosk. There is no cell service here, so there is no way to pay online once you get here. There's no mention of a parking fee or how to pay online, so there's no way of knowing how to pay the parking fee before you leave from wherever you have internet.
So functionally there is no way to actually go here.
This place is amazing! Easy to get to and plenty of parking. The coolest thing was meeting the park project manager who's been managing an environmental non-profit with his friends to maintain this park for 30 years! The trails are great for family with little kids too as the banks are mainly flat with a couple of sturdy stairs. Will definitely go back here on my next visit to Mt. Hood!
