Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge Kiosk reviews
9Fantastic spot to view a wide variety of feathered friends! To all the folks who are complaining about no bathrooms: the few disrespectful selfish inconsiderate bholes have ruined that for the majority. Honestly if you can't hold your water for 3 miles until you get to town, then maybe you shouldn't be participating in long road trips. The people whining and giving this spot 1-star reviews based solely on restroom availability really need to understand the big picture.
Just wish people would be more respect of nature and the facility we all ready lost the honeybuckets to disrespect
Beautiful scenery and they have some nice hiking trails. Be sure to bring a camera and binoculars. I have spotted Bald Eagles out the several times and juveniles on occasion.
This place was much better before the restrooms were removed. Restrooms are needed in this area.
Very beautiful, but very dirty and no trash cans so garbage and cigarette butts all over ground! Do you have anyone cleaning?
Really pretty view. No restroom though which makes sense cause that would probably create garbage in the environment. Has a free lookout tower. Watched some gorgeous birds fly around and was amazed at how they all stay in formation.
The kiosk is easy to reach from Route 22. It is elevated above the refuge and the views are fantastic! Valuable information is on large displays. Paper maps are available. Shaded benches are inside.
Not much to say about this place. It is a good place to stop and stretch your legs on a long road trip. There are no bathrooms here, however, it is a beautiful place to take some pictures and maybe view some birds if they're around.
Granddaughter's first visit. While I enjoyed the birds, she loved the mud puddles. She's 3.
