Okay. This park has a huge variety of equipment for ALL kids! And when I say all the kids, I mean handicap included!

Finally, a fun, safe place to take your kiddos. The kids were all welcoming and included play time with my friends son, who is full-time in a wheelchair. They pushed him around and put him in the swing. It was amazing.

Really fun park. However it is geared to older children so keep that in mind. We took my grandson who was only 15 months. It was definitely out of his league but it's a fantastic park for older kids. Ages 6 to 12.

I have never seen such a beautiful & innovative play area for children. Absolutely amazing. All the kids were having such a great time. They even have a mini zip line!

Me and my family went here today and we had a blast, it was a great environment, a lot of people were there and everyone was very friendly. My kids loved their little zip line swings, we can't wait for the chance to take them back and have another day at the park I'd suggest this park to anybody, I'd go there anytime it wasn't a bad environment for kids that I seen and a great time for family fun, I just suggest to go at a time when it's good weather because it rained on us today and that's why we had to leave and it sucked.

Was a great park full of history, but after being remodeled and burnt to the ground. All you have now is the homeless problem thats just ignored.

Wow! This is fantastic playground. There's a lot going on at this park: a dog park, BMX track, skatepark, long walking trails, picnic tables, and huge grassy areas with large shade trees. But this playground is something else! We had another special playground tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I think we might forsake it and start going here on our long trips to/fro Oregon. It seems like it was a large community effort, with several funding campaigns. People paid to put their names on fence pickets, plus other features of the playground like a ramp, a musical instrument, or this and that. There's a neat swing set with some regular swings and some different kinds of swings, even a wheelchair swing! I really enjoyed the zip line kinda thing. There's one with a very secure chair, and another with a rope and a disk seat. The main play structure for ages 5-12 has maybe a castle theme and a wagon train theme. Another part of the playground for ages 2-5 has a bear house theme. There's another swing set there for the little kids. Bathrooms are near the playground. They were clean when I used them. And there are 2 sets of picnic tables under partial shade. They're labeled with A and B, so I guess you can reserve them for large groups, birthday parties, etc. We went midday on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking and not much of a crowd. I hope we go back again.

If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

We had a wonderful time at Bear Creek Park! We were there to celebrate my great granddaughter turning 1.

The picnic tables were right next to the playground. The playground was delightful. There were many children of all ages having a wonderful time.

There appeared to be a few other parties going on that day also. There were people walking dogs on leashes.

We had a beautiful Indian summer day in the Rogue Valley. By mid October those days start slipping away. Lots of folks were taking advantage of the warm weather to enjoy one of the nicest parks in Medford.

I love this place! I haven't been in Medford my whole life, but when I was really young, I had just moved from California and this park was like the best part of this town by far (in the opinion of a 8 year old, obviously.) I truly recommend this as a place to take your kids, or really anyone you care about.

Great play structures. Much improved from beloved wooden ones when I was a child. Providing hours of fun. Didn't even get to the trails and creek on this particular visit.

Took dogs to the dog park today. They have added some new things there. Some small jumps, planks, etc. Great place for dogs to meet and greet!

I love this park, it has been a gem since I was a child and now my kids love it. During the summer it gets incredibly hot near the big kids play structure, little kids area stays pretty shaded so timing is important! Really enjoy the big green space to play

Beautiful park with a dog park, skate park, kids playground, tennis courts, BMX dirt track, walking paths and publis bathrooms. I take my daughter all the time. She loves the playground

We took our children there when they were little & they always loved it. We go there sometimes after church to play tennis, then have a picnic. Today we got to take the grandbabies & they played hard for 2 hours & a picnic. We even found the railing with their names on it.
What a great job revamping the playground. I loved seeing the freedom/liberty swing. It's a swing for a person in a wheelchair.

Fun for all ages and has lots to do even for tots.however it's off the green way so lots of questionable people and definitely not a place to let your guard down with your children

There is a skate park in a BMX track a huge playground with a bike trail to go through the whole park along the Bear Creek. I highly recommend bringing the family to this park

This is a lovely, well kept park, with a covered area for picnicking, playground, and paved pathways along Bear Creek, part of the Greenway. It's close to medical facilities, a good place to kill time while waiting for someone there. The birding was good for middle of the day, and dense trees provided some cover during a rain storm!

Had a good time until a guy in a yellow visit started asking me questions. I was on a swing next to my grandson.
At first I thought he was going to tell me to get off the swing. No, instead he creeped me out by asking me if I had tried the zip line that this park does offer for free.
I decided to tell my younger grandson to find his brother. He did and had fun for a while sliding down the slide. Then I told my step daughter to watch him, while his older brother tried the zip line. This was interesting as I had never seen any park have a zip line before. I sat him in the seat and double checked the locks (like the way they would at any amusement park) This was kinda scary because you help pull the seat to the high point of the zip line and then let go completely. I was glad that I had checked his seat locks thoroughly. He loved it but it kinda scared me.
Then after that we joined his brother and Mom and again they ran to the slide pictured in my photo. The younger boy made friends with a group of older kids who were playing tag. The strange man that earlier creeped me out was now climbing in the middle part of the playground. My step daughter didn't like seeing this, creepy full grown guy climbing where her children were playing. SO she rounded up my grandsons and we left.
I like the park, the equipment is newer and donated by the Dherms? Family.but you really need to have a parent or a grandparent watching each child you bring. It is so easy for your child to run to the other end without you realizing it. Don't just sit at the bench at the end of the slide. Stick closely to your child. Luckily we were able to get out of there safely, without any harm from this peculiar stanger. My advise is to always be careful at any par you visit with your children or grandchildren. ESPECIALLY when you see adults climbing on the equipment where it is difficult to reach your child. That us why I am only giving it 3 ststs.

Beautiful children's Park full of homeschool kids during the day. Great equipment and a lot of fun. Our kids favorite park.
Jan-2022 bathroom by the playground has been torn down. Bathroom way up by the tennis courts is open though.

The new play structures are excellent. Medford Parks and recreation did a great job. The facility is well maintained. Tim Stevens crew do a great job.

The park itself is still great. Even if the playground is missing that nostalgia. They removed the bathrooms right by the playground as well, so hopefully they replace those soon.
