Beaverton City Library reviews
12The building is big and beautiful. A very peaceful place with spaces well put together for families as well as places for study and work. It has a dedicated space for teens with books, graphic novels, seating and computers for them. It also has event areas and rooms you can reserve. Importantly, as my family had discussed it would be well suited for a zombie apocalypse home base. Totally defensible, with good view of surroundings and has solar power, not to mention books about everything.
I love the library! Starting to bring my baby there to read her one to two books, and allow her to interact with other humans
Its one of the nicest libraries in Beaverton area. Got great collection of books from Toddlers to adults. All the staff members are so helpful and nice. Equipped with self checkout and droff offs to retun the books. I recommend it to anyone living in Washington country general area.
I tried to get a library card. The woman at the front was dismissive and refused to help. She told me I must be from another county; even though I showed her a drivers license from Beaverton. This baffles me.
It was a demoralizing experience. Maybe the pandemic has made the workers in the library bitter and angry? I just wanted a to check out a book. I’m not even sure I have a library card as the computer wouldn’t work. Good luck to anyone who needs help, you will not find it at the library.
Stopped here to find a Geocache!
Really nice two story library. Even had a place where you could check out kitchen appliance and even a guitar.
Met really helpful librarian too.
Our Beaverton City Libray is always excellent. Top notch staff, always ready to answer a question, it's also incredibly clean. It's the refuge I need to grab two hours of quiet reading, or to just have some quiet time for re-centering, to get up to speed for the rest of the day.
I love this Library! It's beautiful, inside and out. They always get my books in quickly and checkout is a breeze. Super nice people work here too!
Wonderful gathering spot in central Beaverton! Lush lawns and benches invite a sit &rest with a good book. One of my favorite spots in town!
A wonderful and good place for me to print documents, as well as a more than wonderful service and reception. I was helped and facilitated my task. Thank you
Beautiful and peaceful place to read, browse and work on writing. Excellent resources (magazines, movies, music.power washers!) and the staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly staff. One of the best places to go with a child in the entire PDX metro area, with a big green lawn for picnics and a really fun playground with picnic tables and splash pad fountain for kids to run around in. Huge Saturday market next door by playground!
It’s a wonderful place to go find interesting books! But I have a quick question about it, can we stay at the place to read the book? Thank you!
The Beaverton City Library is full of wonderful resources! The librarians are friendly and helpful and the Library of Things is definitely worth checking out.
