Great team, clear communication, good bedside manner, and overall kindness.
Update to first surgery procedure: clean work, no abnormal bruising or excessive stretching of my mouth like I've had from other dental surgeons. Excellent care team. I felt very well taken care of post surgery and appreciate the follow up calls. Dr. Alex Bouneff is the best oral surgeon I have had and highly recommend him and his team.

I have had good service here. My implant surgery was a walk in the park compared to other services from other Dentist. The first implant failed to graft in (which I understand is rare) but they did not charge me to redo it.

Efficient at what they do in terms of verifying insurance and giving an estimate prior to the procedure (but only after you have paid your $130 consult deposit which is applied to the procedure). At the consult the medical assistant did her best with my 18yr old son who suffers with ADHD, anxiety, slight autism. She had red hair (I forgot her name) and went above & beyond and wrote out what each RX is for and a reiteration of the dosing (this was after Dr. A Bouneff was finishing up with us in the consult), which was very helpful. I appreciate her awareness and sensitivity in connecting with patients. However, I'm not sure if the front desk, the medical assistants, or the doctor even read his health history which mentioned these limitations, because I brought it up to the medical assistant and she then adjusted how things could be explained better to my son, appropriately.

Dr. Anthony Bouneff then came into the room and asked us how we were and promptly reviewed the charts and the copy of the imaging sent over by my son's orthodontist - with both of us in detail. His thoroughness was much appreciated. The personal connection however was missing, but I'm sure he is so used to the process and has mastered it's efficiency (i.e. Consult, surgery) that a little human touch put back into the process would be good. He didn't ask us if we had any questions, but maybe this is their protocol when it is an ADHD anxiety autistic person? I had to use the restroom after the consult and the back desk lady knew to wait but she already had my son sign the quote. It just seems they want things signed right away and money paid right away. I hoped considering my son, they would have waited for me. As for the actual procedure, I can't speak to that because I was not in the room. My son's recovery has been very good and I am surprised how well he is recovering 1-day post-op so far.

My only other complaints have been the front desk who can be very brash and cold when collecting money. Like I commented, the personal touch is missing from this place. I had the same experience post-surgery in the recovery room. The one nurse (long black hair) didn't connect with me at all, it was all about the process. She gave me instructions but she did not bother to clean the blood on both arms from my son's IV. She did not bother to give us even a few alcohol wipes or a few gauze sponges for the ride home (we live an hour away - although she did change the mouth gauze), and (not that this part was their problem) I needed to charge my EV on the way home. I ended up having a bloody mess as the gauze pads filled quickly (she mentioned change more like every 30 min) and ran into Rite-Aid. It just would have been nice to have at least an extra set of alcohol wipes and gauze on hand in a 'on the way' home kit of sorts, with the discharge instructions. My son is now 1-day post-op and the bleeding has stopped. I feel better patient education in regards to post-op, as well as care, could have been given - along with what happens during the procedure (although I did find a good video of the doctor explaining it in better detail on YouTube). Lastly- more clear instruction on taking the 'public' (not 'staff') elevator back up when parking in patient parking (whomever is picking up the patient) would be helpful. It seemed there was another woman (waiting for her family member patient) was confused on where to go/which elevator to take after parking and meeting up with the patient post-surgery, as well. They did call today to check up on recovery but I wasn't able to answer so they left a voicemail and that we only need to call back if any issues.which reminds me they call and text A LOT of reminders.and email.maybe they have people that don't show up, but it's a lot. I was even reminded to complete the patient paperwork after I did that the same day, if not next day, after scheduling the consult, so I started to get confused.

Ordinary people like myself are spending a lot of money out-of-pocket (even with insurance) so the expectation is higher.

Best experience I’ve ever had getting my teeth worked on. I was so nervous for my procedure, and they made me feel perfectly comfortable. They were so knowledgeable and I literally experienced zero pain! They are the best of the best!

Dr. Anthony Bouneff and staff are top notch — personable and professional. My extraction and implant was practically painless, and results were perfect. I really appreciated the great communication — clear explanation of the entire process, and sending me reminders and confirmations. A great team all around.

Everyone here was very friendly and professional. I actually enjoyed going to the dentist. With the choices I've had in the past, I didn't know there was an office that cared about their patients out there.

Every person I dealt with at Beaverton oral surgeons has been such a joy to work with. I have lots of anxiety dealing with dentist due to childhood traumas but they did not judge me and helped me work through it to make the experience flawless. Would recommend them to anyone. Loved the constant communication of upcoming appointments so we wouldn’t forget the appointment.

I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr Alex and his wonderful team. Everyone was super nice and comforting. The IV didn't hurt going in, and I passed out right after the bite block went in. Honestly, the hardest part for me the day of surgery was fasting beforehand.

Regardless of what situation I’m in, my anxiety is always very high. Everyone involved in my wisdom teeth removal was super understanding of that. They even gave me tissues when I began to tear up whenever I got too overwhelmed. Another positive was how thoroughly they explained everything to me, that helped ease my anxiety a lot as well! I was in and out within a couple hours. If you’re putting off getting mouth surgery for any reasons involving your anxiety, go here and they’ll make sure you feel comfortable during the whole process. Plus the little goody bag is adorable!
