BenchMark Physical Therapy, Salem OR

I never expected that physical therapy could help improve the flexibility on my shoulder. I have a small tear on my left shoulder that was found after the ultra-sound test was conducted. It was believed that I overdid the chest fly exercise that I was doing. My Doctor recommended physical therapy and Benchmark happened to be right in the Courthouse Gym in west Salem where I go for regular exercise. The physical therapist at Benchmark helped my situation one on one, unlike the PT that my wife went to at one time where she was instructed to do a certain exercise and then left her on her own to do it and only check on her once in a while and doing another client. At Benchmark the PT stays with you until you're done for the session. Needless to say, my recovery went so fast! Their staffs are awesome people; they are very respectful and treated me the way clients should be treated. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who needs physical therapy services.

Can’t recommend the staff at Benchmark strongly enough. From the front office staff who made working with my complicated schedule a breeze, to the extremely competent therapist Staff, I left every visit feeling spoiled. Not only did I receive a high level of excellent care, but it was uniquely tailored to my needs. The Therapists went out of their way to not only help heal my injury, but ensure I could return to work and workouts stronger than before my injury. I really felt like a family member, and not a number or statistic. Cindy, Daniel, and Jess worked as a team, and I am deeply in their debt!

I went to Benchmark Physical Therapy in West Salem to have my neck and shoulders worked on and my therapists Luke Hammer & Mallory Westbrook were great. I was able to be shown great techniques to use far after therapy to keep my neck and shoulders in great shape. They are always available anytime I need to ask questions far after my therapy. I love this place! I'm on my second go round with this facility-two total knee replacements this year. I chose to return to the West Salem facility because my first experience was so wonderful. They are knowledgeable about their techniques, well educated, personable, relateable, and motivating. From the beginning, most of the staff learned my name and the therapists working directly with me always keep up on my progress notes, even if I am not scheduled to work with a particular one. I walk in ready to work and go home tired but feeling so positive that I am ready to come back the next day. A remodel was recently completed and the open atmosphere is "family friendly". We (clients, therapists and support staff) talk and joke around with each other. If someone wants or needs a private space, that is available. Benchmark is in the Courthouse building and is able to access all the exercise equipment and the pool for their clients. I feel that expands the capability of the services and helps me understand how to use equipment at the athletic club I already belong to (different from Courthouse). I highly recommend this physical therapy business to anyone. Luke, Paula, Mallory are awesome!
