Bend Fly Shop

Damon and Casey greeted me immediately when I entered their Fly Shop. They rented me both waders and boots. Most fly shops get a bit snooty and cold with you when you share you are a spin rig fisherman. Not Damon & Casey. Georgia born Casey greeted this fellow southern Arkansas man and treated me with the respect I deserve as a customer who is spending money in his shop. He and Damon were helpful to sell me some lures well suited for my task and even recommended some great rivers/creeks to fish on. I had a blast and caught several fish. Having great help makes the world of difference for someone passing thru like myself. I would highly recommend Bend Fly Shop for both travelers and locals alike.

Had a great time on the lower Deschutes and did a full-day trip with my wife. Casey was an amazing guide and helped us learn enough to get me semi-addicted to fly fishing. It was our first time and I have been dreaming about it since! Mike and the guys at the shop were also very accommodating and helpful. Love this shop!

A couple buddies and I had a great day fly fishing with Casey. Very patient and helpful with newbies. We caught several big trout. Very exciting and scenery was amazing. Exceeded expectations and we really enjoyed it!

Yesterday, my sons and I had a thoroughly enjoyable 1/2 day on the Crooked River with our guide Casey Canada. We all caught fish on both pieces of water we visited. His knowledge of technique helped both beginners and advanced fly fishers. He also provided critical advice on how to gracefully recover from a full immersion into the stream) We highly recommend both Casey and Bend Fly shop.

I’m new to fly fishing and mike welcomed me with open arms! He helped me not feel so intimidated learning and picking out my first rod and flies. Got a bunch of bites my first hour fishing. Definitely recommend this place! Will be a coming here frequently

Great day on the river with Casey, top notch guide, extremely knowledgeable, fun, and experienced. Cruised the Deschutes River though the canyon to Trout Creek. The scenery was just as outstanding as the fishing.

Came in 15 minutes before closing and was rolled out the red carpet Damon (hope i got the spelling right) took the time to show me some hot flies working right now along with a few different options on where to fish.hoping to slay it tomorrow thanks again for the outstanding customer service Damon! I will be back whenever im in the area.

BFS is the best shop in town no contest. I go in all the time and every single person on staff is so personable, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. Thankful to live in a town that's so close to so many amazing fishing spots, and to have a shop in town that loves to share stories and knowledge about all their favorite fishing holes is the cherry on top. Great selection of flies that are guaranteed to catch trout, top of the line accessories and apparel at an affordable price, and an "all are welcome" vibe that is priceless. Can't recommend Bend Fly Shop enough!

We visit this shop all the time. Bought new rod and reel 2 years ago. This weekend we booked the half day trip on the Crooked River with Casey. Took my son and his fiance for their 1st time fly fishing. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. Will do it again for sure. Casey was amazing and taught us so much. Great day fishing and great memories made. Damon was really helpful finding new gear and recommended some local breweries we'll be visiting. Altogether an amazing experience in the shop and on the river.

I went on a Lower Deschutes trip with Casey the other day. It was an uncommon, rainy day and had a great time. Good times and learned a lot. Thanks Casey.

Crazy expensive compared to other spots in town. The employee I dealt with was extremely rude. Go to the Patient Angler where prices are good and they actually want to help you!

Still my favorite shop. I travel for work and last time I went in, I was there to fill up my fly boxes for a work trip out to eastern Oregon. I think Mike was who helped me. He was very knowledgeable on techniques that I’ve failed at and was even nice enough to throw in a few new flies to try out. He was also extremely helpful in picking a new sage rod as I was in dire need of a quality 5wt. I’ve been to a lot of the fly shops all around Oregon and Idaho and Bend fly shop is by far the most knowledgeable and have the best selection of gear for a good price.

Casey Canada is a stud! Bend Fly Shop is lucky to have someone of his caliber on your staff. I have fished extensively with Casey during his time in Colorado and can tell you that he is a fish catching machine.

We were in town for a last minute trip and decided to take a fly fishing lesson! We called on July 4th and guys at Bend Fly Shop responded right away! They booked us for the next morning on a private lesson with Casey. He is extremely knowledgeable with a lifetime of experience. Most importantly he was a patient and made it fun to learn. I highly recommend the shop for all your fly fishing needs

Excellent experience with Bend Fly Shop. My dad and I did a half day crooked river trip with Casey. Although it landed on a funky weather day, Casey was able to lock in some solid locations and flys to have us reeling in trout in no time. Also, as I am a new fly fisherman, he was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the trip and had me ending the day with a new passion. 10/10 would recommend taking a guided trip with these guys.

Chris and his crew were extremely helpful and friendly. As an East-coaster it was so nice to come to a new town and be treated so well. Chris pulled out the map and showed me a handful of local spots to go check out! Bought some nice flies and they rewound my reel too! Can’t wait to get back to Bend to visit this great shop. Bonus points, this shop in a very cool little enclave with some other great stores to check out and there’s tables with umbrellas out front to have a picnic or reorganize your fly box!

We stopped here from out of town to do some fly fishing and this place was great. Some amazing flies and wonderful service. Mike really took care of us and helped us with advice on where to fish, what to fish, and even helped us replace our lines. You should definitely stop here if you are planning on fly fishing in Bend!

This place is awesome and so are the people that work there. Everyone is very nice and extremely helpful. Every time I go in someone is quick to help and offer a lot of great advice.

Best fly shop in Bend, such a great experience with them thus far. New to fly fishing and the area so I stopped in to ask a few questions. Chris and Mike were incredibly welcoming and helpful answering my newbie questions. Excellent selection of gear and they also offer guided trips, which I’m really looking forward to doing with them. Whether you’re local to the area or just passing thru, stop in and check them out!

I LOVE FISHING! I come here for all my needs. The staff are very helpful and kind and I love talking to them on days that my wife kicks me out (for fishing too much)
