Best Western Plus Hood River Inn

This resort is even better off season weekdays. Love the Asian effect and their landscaping, I try to get a ground level pario room.

It is okay hotel. But get a river view room. Otherwise it is a good place to sleep. Staff was a little short.

We visited on a rainy day in January so didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor pool and mountains were mostly obscured by clouds; nevertheless, the river view was delightful. The restaurant had the most extensive wine list I’ve ever encountered! Amenities in the room were above what is standard, the breakfast in the lovely dining room was delicious and service throughout was excellent. Great value; highly recommend!

Best Western is a perfect place to stay. Clean, Friendly, and a Great Atmosphere. The Breakfast in the morning is amazing. We stay at Best Western everywhere we go if there is one available. I always recommend to friends and family. You will not be disappointed. Skip the cheap motels! Saving a little $$ is not worth the cleanliness issues of those cheap places. Plus, the entire family gets breakfast the next morning. That equals about $10 a plate. Four family members that is a $40 Breakfast! The buffet spread had a wide variety of foods for the entire family! Even if you do certain diets.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, I like the separate sinks idea. Lots of kids in the pool and in both the outdoor and indoor hot tub though. Sit down complimentary breakfast was delicious, but was a 40 minute wait for a table of 5. Make reservations ahead of time.

Was upgraded to suite due to maintenance. Suite was gorgeous and extremely spacious. Has huge bathroom with huge shower and tub. Only issue was lack of plug ins in bathroom.

I ended up having 2 cops pound on my room door because Best Western had a prank caller that gave a random room number that happened to be mine. This happened to be after the front desk had called and had asked me if I had ordered a pizza and I had told them no. I don't get why I was disturbed. I was a single female staying there to snowboard and get away from everyone. Last thing I wanted was to be disturbed by strangers and get charged for it. I <br/>Ate all my meals in there hotel they knew I was there alone so to be disturbed like that was ridiculous. They were very disrespectful.

Breakfast at the hotel is not a self-serve meal. You go to the restaurant [RIVERSIDE] & if the bar and dining restaurant are not full, you are seated & provide a coupon you're given when you checkin for one free entrée. If there's a wait (like I had for Friday morning), you may have to wait 30-40 minutes hefore you are seated). If you sre not prepared for the wait, and IF you have extra expendable money, there's a McDonald's and a Starbucks across the parking lot.

I love the classic look of this place and the accommodations were great. We brought our dog on this trip and they provide a great place to stay for everyone. I love the lounge and restaurant here as well. There are many views of the Columbia River. The location is great as well, easy access to the freeway and downtown.

This was a very nice and relaxing place to stay. Comfortable bed, and a deck leading out to the river, what more could a person ask for! Great breakfast in the restaurant also. I highly recommend the bacon avocado.

The place is beautiful and you feel like you can sit for an hour easily without feeling rushed, but the food is so so and not a lot to choose from.

Definitely a great hotel - for breakfast we ordered off the menu, beds were comfortable, showers were hot and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Yes, I would recommend!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Attentive, polite staff. Convenient location for mountain or river activities.

Drinks at the new bar in the Cebu Lounge, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Dinner later in the main dining hall was beautiful with their holiday decorations. Had a wonderful night there!

We had a great over night get away. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this location. We also recommend joining the frequent stay program. Lots of nice perks which help to make a "get away" enjoyable.

Fantastic Riverside Restaurant, clean, comfortable, attractive room with great view of the Columbia River. The breakfast that is part of the cost is AMAZING! This is the 3rd year that we have come to BW Plus Hood River Inn to celebrate Thanksgiving. We enjoy the experience, just wish we could get better weather.

This was an incredible hotel. It is situated on the Columbia River. Pool and hot tub are outside and can be used in the winter. Very large spread out hotel so request to be by pool if that's important to you. Restaurant provides a cooked to order breakfast for guests and then deducts the bill. They also offered discount coupons for the restaurant that we used for our evening meal, with the same incredible view. This is a restaurant the public uses, as well. It's that good. Best Best Western we've ever been to. You won't be disappointed!

Very nice location on the river, and no problem with having our Pet stay as well, I would stay and recommend this location to anyone planning a visit to Hood River

This was perhaps my most favorite hotel stay ever. The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff is attentive and friendly. They gave us the perfect room for traveling with our little dog, and they provided her with a treat bag upon check in. Our room fee included a delicious made-to-order breakfast with a lovely view of the Columbia River Gorge. Excellent experience. I highly recommend it!

I did not stay the night, but was checking the venue for possible use during a wedding in the future. The place was clean, had friendly and helpful staff, a nice restaurant, and great views as well as location. Hard to give 5 stars without actually being a customer yet.
