Bicycle Way of Life reviews
7Matt spent quite a bit of time with us helping us find bikes to meet our needs. They let us try out several bikes on the nearby river trail and everyone at the shop was super friendly and helpful!
Week rental of hybrid bikes in July Nice service, good bikes and fun riding galore.
Very happy with how they fixed up my old bike - new brakes, new rear wheel and cassette, and fixed seatpost. Best of all, they called to let me know that some of the planned work did not appear to be necessary upon further inspection, which saved me a bundle!
Rented bikes for the day in Eugene. Got some solid crossover trek bikes, helmets, locks, and even a repair kit. Had a great day touring Eugene, thanks!
Every time we've ever been here, they've been really helpful. This morning I came in with a question about an axle for a bike trainer. Not only did they offer me a used compatible part they had on hand free of charge, but they also wrote down my number and called me back later after locating it. Even though the part was not available through their distributors, they called me anyway to let me know where to get it. Thanks for excellent service! We will recommend you to all and return again soon.
Up stairs, tho may have tall ramp. No very informative when asking simple questions & I was the only person in there. Grrr
I spent most of this fall trying to get a shop in town to help me source a Salsa Marrakesh frame which fit me better than the bike I ordered at the height of COVID supply chain pressure, and no one could make it happen. Heck, half of them didn't even call me back.
Bicycle Way of Life on the other hand was happy to work with me, able to source the frame from their distributor and do the frame swap, James was communicative and friendly through the entire process. The labor costs were fair and flexible, they had no problems re-wrapping my bars with some nice tape I had previously ordered online.
James originally quoted me a week to do the build over the Christmas holiday but turned the bike over and back to me in under 48 hours. Really impressed with the quality and care they took on this work, and I'll be happy to trust Bicycle Way of Life with my bike services in the future.
