Birch Pointe Apartments, Beaverton OR

Been here 2 years and I've had no issues with the management or staff. My little family feels safe in the spot we are at.

I live here, let me save you some grief, don’t. The office consistently steals my packages, alllllll the time. I’ve caught them and proven it once so well they had to reimburse me, then they got sneakier. Also, way way way overpriced.

Birch pointe deserves 5 stars for having the porter back yuppiii about time property is messy when she's not around. WELCOME Maria and thank you for your work, it makes it more pleasant to live in this property.

I am so grateful that I finally moved out of Birch Pointe. There were so many non-fixable issues that I had to deal with everyday that made living there unbearable at times.

Pros:
- Has descent amenities
- Lots of guest parking if you live on the outer ring/free parking
- Spacious layouts
- Heaters in every room
Cons:
- The tenants. There were numerous times when cops were at the complex at different units for calls about domestic violence. I had to witness multiple, repeated encounters right outside my home and the staff refused to do anything about it besides have me file police reports. Despite having officers at our doors, apparently there was nothing the complex could do about solving these issues.
- Paper thin walls. To keep it short I could hear my next door neighbor’s alarm clock go off early every morning, and they would let it ring for at least 20 minutes straight before doing anything about it. You can hear every neighbor you share a wall with at once, even those below and above you.
- Abandoned cars in parking lot. Parking is great except when it gets filled because the staff won’t remove the abandoned vehicles. They’re pretty obvious and you could probably spot them now.
- Kids are always screaming and yelling right outside the homes.
- Most units have little to no sunlight due to the way the windows are underneath the coverings.
- Maintenance was great when they remembered to show up. Many times they would completely forget about a request or when they would come they would ask for an 8 hour window for a small fix which felt pretty unreasonable
- Another thing about maintenance, there were 3 mandatory apartment inspections where staff had to snoop around your home for various reasons. I’ve never dealt with this before and feel like it’s a complete invasion of privacy. I don’t understand why these inspections can’t be done in between tenants moving in/out.
- If you are enticed by the pool, almost all summer long it was under maintenance for people pooping, vomiting, or spilling alcohol in the water. Wouldn’t even want to go in if it was open.

Overall just not worth the price they are charging. Find yourself a better home if you can.

My partner lives at Birch Pointe and it's a cute apartment community. Property is clean, the landscaping is kept up really nice and there are a lot beautiful trees around. The buildings kind of remind me of cozy beach cottages. I've gone in and looked at a couple of units when they were on the market that they have updated and they look really nice. They have what I would call a cute, cozy, vibe inside. They also have buildings that face the wetlands which is nice because it's quiet and pretty on that side, especially when you hear ducks and possibly get a chance to see them when they waddle their way up to the grass:) Wetlands are a perfect view from your patio or deck. Whenever I have gone over to visit my partner and we have walked around the complex when we're taking his doggo for a walk, anyone we have crossed paths with is always very polite and friendly and there will be the occasional hi:)
Overall it's a cute apartment community in a very safe area, close to lots of shopping, streets of tanasbourne and other stores. The property manager Kori, and the other staff are also very helpful and have excellent customer service if inquiring about a unit. Go check these places out:)

Was my haven till trash neighbors moved in who break every rule. Warning: management doesnt help at all.

Hello birch pointe it is very difficult to deposit the garbage with the containers closed the absence of the caretaker maria is noted the order that she puts in the neighborhood is lacking.

I moved from Chicago three years ago we came to Birch Pointe by recommendation I am an elderly person and I feel safe living here in these apartments early yesterday morning it was still dark and Porter Maria was spreading salt on the sidewalk at the entrance to the mail station as there was snow and I felt confident that birch pointe cares about their tenants. Thank you

The woman Our goalkeeper keeps the outside very clean, but the grass is very big and it is not known what we are on. The lawn is very unkempt, what happened to the people in orange LandCare uniforms who took good care of the lawn and the whole garden in general? Its absence is very noticeable Birch Pointe please do something.

I recently moved to Oregon from MInnesota with my partner and the Birch Pointe Apts have been an amazing home for us so far. Matt and Gabriela from the office have been kind, friendly, professional, and quick to respond. I can’t recommend these Apts enough. Very dog friendly community with bags and garbage cans provided for dog waste is a nice bonus. Also the 24/7 gym is great and convenient.

I've lived here for 6 years now and really like it. The staff work's incredibly hard to make it as nice a place to live as possible. Maintenance is very responsive as we have a hardworking maintenance manager. The place is not perfect, but most places aren't. Management makes sure that the property is also looking good as there are always projects to keep it looking good. The property is always clean, and they do a great job of cleaning the trash areas after the trash service has emptied the trash containers. Staff also plans social events to encourage the neighbors to get togetther. I have not taken advantage of all the amenities, but a very cool lounge, workroom, and exercise room are available. Thank You.

The best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in! Great amenities, very responsive and responsible management staff, awesome system in place for everything, great renovated apartment, Amazon hub, Latch keyless entry, great price point and amazing location. There is nothing to dislike!

This is a great community and the office and maintenance staff are very help and great to work with. Had a problem with my refrigerator and they responded same day and got it resolved. Kuddos to the Maintenance staff who are working hard to keep everything running, you are doing an outstanding job. Awesome job to the office staff who are very responsive of everyone's needs. Fully recommend this place if you are going to move to Beaverton.

Two months ago we lived in birch pointe it was an excellent recommendation from a relative the apartments are very comfortable and we have a beautiful view, a very friendly maintenance woman walks outside all day keeping the whole property clean, thanks birch pointe it is nice to live in a clean place.

I lived there in 2008 and 2009, right around when Promethius was taking over as management. The unit I was provided was very different from the model shown when I came and toured-with different flooring and everything. When I moved into my unit, I saw the kitchen countertops had been painted with a matte white paint, which was not wipeable and attracted every kind of grime. Who paints kitchen counters with matte white paint? Promethius, that's who. I ended up having to apply a wax sealant so I wouldn't lose my security deposit turning in a unit with destroyed counters. Yes, I know this was over a decade ago. Yes, this might not be your experience. But I'm still salty about it. I highly advise you ask to tour the specific unit you'll be in before moving in, and get the details of what you're being offered in writing, before you sign the lease. Otherwise you might be salty for the next 13 years too.

Lovely large apt complex with a walking path, large trees, a lovely modern weight room, community room with kitchen and pool. Across the street is a large pond with a walking path to observe the bird life.

Nice fireplace for extra heat. Not built to good though. No floor padding. You can hear EVERY Step and kids jumping off the counter to the floor with no padding all hours of the day and night. And management does nothing.

I want to THANK the Birch Pointe Management for making the process of moving in so easy! They were so helpful with EVERYTHING! I am truly blessed to call this place HOME! Thank you so much Heather, Matthew, & Marcus for all the great help!

The office staff and maintenance are great. I needed screen doors and they were quick to get them to me unfortunately they didn't quite fit right. I emailed the office and the same day Oscar came by to adjust them. He was extremely kind and willing to help not only with my screens but fixed my blind quickly too. I have had all good experiences with Birch Pointe and am grateful to have a place for my family and pets after a long move acrossed the country. Heather and Marcus have gone above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the entire process.
