The food is delicious, but the service is a tad slow. Recommend calling ahead to place your order 15 minutes before you arrive so that it's ready when you show up.

The birrieria and tacos here were pretty good, but the service is terrible. My usual spot is Birrieria La Plaza, and just wanted to give someone else a try. It was a mistake. The consume isn’t as good, and they use lower quality cheese too. Suggest going to Birrieria La Plaza rather than Birrieria PDX.

I had two tacos and one burrito. The food was almost inedible filled with grease. I had three bites of the burrito and just threw it away. I had stomach cramps, bloating, and diarrhea for a day and a half. I WOUKD NOT RECOMMEND eating here.

I was surprised to find out they have more meat choices than birria. They have asada and al pastor also. The birria had amazing flavor. Service was quick and friendly.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Really friendly and professional customer service I if you need a superb dishes and combos. Atmosphere is great I love the fact they have music outside but it's too cold for this time of year.

We've been here at least 10 times now. Their food and service is perfect every single time. Try the Ramen, that Birria sauce in a soup, so good.

The wet burrito is seriously one of the VERY best plates of food in Portland without a doubt. It’s big enough to feed a small village and the birria and sauce is AMAZING.can barely drive by without stopping now. A *must* try for sure.

The birria consomme is soooo good! Sometimes I order a large cup of the consomme with the birria queso tacos. I pour some in a bowl and dip my queso tacos in it. It is delicious. You can choose to eat your tacos with your fingers or with a fork. I take whatever consomme that I do not use and I freeze it. Then when I make homemade tacos or tostadas, I warm the consomme in the microwave and I dip my taco shells in the warm consomme. Just let them sit a little bit and soak up some of that amazing flavor. Then I take the shells and I put them in the oven at a low setting of 250° for about 10 minutes. The shells crisp up and become very light and airy. They make for the best homemade tacos ever! Birria consomme is fantastic when you have a cold. Just drink it like soup. It is so delicious and so soothing. It definitely lifts your spirits.

Me and my wife had the birrieria tacos with the broth and birrieria fries. The food was *muah* and delicious. This is my first time having the tacos and now I’m addicted. We will be back for more.

On my recent, first trip to Portland, my sister told me I just HAD to eat at this spot. I had been staying with a few, sweet, gentle vegans and was in desperate need of MEAT!

Now, I'm not used to standing in the near freezing cold, both ordering and waiting for my food but, I was willing to get strange for a little bit of grease and melted cheese.

Apparently, there once was a makeshift patio with tables and an awning of sorts prior to us having gone. Unfortunately, there were just a few picnic benches when we went. So, no real protection from the cold. But, you're eating at a food truck so, you've got to get with the program!

Now, I have a tenuous grasp on the English language so, ordering in Spanish was going to be a no-go for me. The menu was in a mix of Spanish and English, with pictures! I really liked those yummy pictures. Now, these folks deal with non-Spanish speakers all the time and were prepared to listen to me painfully eke out my order. However, my generous sister took pitty on me and relayed my order to them.

My wife and I ordered what turned out to be a humongous burrito, a dish of loaded fries and an amazing cup of hot consomé. The portions were massive and the food was hot, fresh and tasted unbelievably good. Everything had an authentic taste and for being located in Portland, the prices were on point!

The truck is located in a well lit parking lot with plenty of parking. The location is handicap friendly in that one could easily get a motorized scooter or wheelchair into the area. You're given one of those little alert devices to let you know when your delicious meal is ready too!

All in all, it was my favorite meal that I had the pleasure of eating while in Portland. Upon visiting again I'll be making at least one stop at Birrieria! Please go treat yourself and support a local business!

Everybody there was very friendly, and was more than willing to give their own opinions to help me decide on what food I was wanting to order. Excellent service could not ask for better. Customer service would like to see the outdoor seating areas. That was their return so I can take my family there without them being rained on.

Very kind and patient staff considering the high volume of customers that were pumping through here while we waited for our food. Very flavorful, authentic food. You had better like cheese, I'll tell you that much. I got the basic carne asada "tacos" which were only $2 a piece and were anything but basic. They have crispy cheese on the outside, melty cheese on the inside with meat, onions & cilantro squeeze of lime and some hot sauce and they were PERFECT.
