Black Rock Coffee Bar, Beaverton OR

Solid coffee drive through, not super well located for my personal needs, but convenient. No drip coffee, all espresso based. Overall good, just not ear twirling amazing.

Sadly this location has diminished in customer service. I ordered 2 peppermint bark. I was handed one. They apologized, charged me for another then handed me a caramel mocha *facepalm here For $21 inc.tip it should be correct. This has been the last few visits. It was so great 4 or 5 months ago: 0 (

All drive-thru. Great lattes! The lattes have a nice rich flavor, and the foam is frothy. I truly enjoy their lattes.

Order a black and white hot chocolate and the girl looked puzzled and asked if I wanted a Mexican mocha when I literally said a black and white me hot chocolate and repeated again and this girl had the audacity to pretend instead of ask and made me a drink with coffee in it. Don’t understand how she got doesn’t know the difference between hot chocolate and coffee ended up driving to the other location near by and the guy knew exactly what I was asking for do not come to this location

Much better than Dutch Bros or Starbucks. They are friendly & always make our drinks perfectly.

I went early morning, while on my way back to Canada, so there wasn't a line up. I had the Hot Mexican Mocha and loved it!

I like Black Rock a lot. I hate to have the children at the window making small talk with me. "so whatcha doin' today? " "doin' anything fun today? "
etc.etc. Who cares, just make coffee. Mindless chit chat so annoying. Coffee good, service usually prompt, and my first choice among coffee chain operators.

Always had super awesome service here except today 6/10/22 at 7: 15AM. The lady taking orders literally had an attitude cause I wanted to look at the menu then walked away all within about 30 seconds of arriving and I just wanted to look at pricing then when I was ready she’s walking in circles on the other side of my car looking at the ground, and I’m trying to get coffee before work. Not wait for people to spin in circles. I left. Train your employees to have better customer service.

Friendly baristas and they remember you
They have new baristas. First time since they opened did not get my traditional pre-work coffee very unacceptable

They’re pretty fast here and friendly but they messed up my order two separate occasions. Asked for regular milk and got 2%, didn’t click in my head until I was driving off. Also got some hazelnut drink on a different occasion by mistake and didn’t realize it until I was on the road. Lesson is, sip your coffee before driving away.

Ordered (2) 24oz and paid for (2) 24oz…received (2) 20oz. I have about a 50/50 hit rate of actually receiving a 24oz from BlackRock when specifically ordering a 24oz. I usually don’t mind when they only charge for a 20oz but this time they even charged the 24oz price just to deliver a 20oz product. I love BlackRock coffee but I’ll go somewhere else where they listen and I get what I pay for.

I have gone here countless of times but I just experienced the rudest girl. After trying to order my usual the girl said I was and quote”finessing” her. One of the baristas from another store tried to save me money once! But this girl just tried to accuse me of ripping them off? For how I ordered! I would never do that. I always ordered and paid extra but this ONE time I took a baristas tip to order it differently. The girl said “well this isn’t Starbucks” I have been buying coffee for years and have never been treated this way. I respect all establishments and can’t believe the way she talked to me. I’d like a managers number or corporate.

Always great service and great coffee. Never a long wait. Only issue I've had is around drink consistency. Very rare but it happens. Staff is always nice and not digging into my business unlike other chains who won't stop asking me what I'm up too. Thanks from us introverts.

Ordered $15 worth of fuel's and the lady handed them to me overflowing. Wouldn’t allow me to give them back to be wiped off.my hands, steering wheel, car window, and clothes were all soaking wet and sticky.kinda sad that customer service is this poor.

If you would like coffee in a timely fashion, you’d be better off going somewhere else. I don’t expect Black Rock to funnel people through at a blazing rate, but on the contrary, I do expect that it won’t take 10 minutes for the car in front of me to get two drinks. As a former coffee shop manager, I understand that means the shop owner is losing money if the barista is talking to customers for that long. There is customer service, and then there is inefficiency. I don’t want to give one star because I love their coffee. This shop needs some training on efficiency

Best ever coffee I had. Ever since I started having Black Rock since it opened back in 2018, I stopped going to Starbucks. My all time favorite-Irish cream

My zeusypoo loves to come see the girls and get his doggie treat and water. Yes we love the coffee to. We love the ladies at TV highway by 209th.
