Black Rock Coffee Bar, Portland OR

I yypically have a great experience while going through this drive thru. The staff is typically really quick and very polite. This morning a blonde batista making the coffee, not the person at the window, they were great, made a comment about how I didn't have to wait this time in a very rude manner. A few trips pervious I had waited about 30 mins for coffee resulting in me being late for work. I admit I was annoyed when I got to the window, especially when finding out it was due to thier machine being down. I think it would have been nice for staff to let us know that that happened so we could choose to leave instead of wait and wonder. So today this batista needed to remind me of my wait with an attitude. As a manager I would never want customers to have this experience first thing in the morning when they are paying over $7 for coffee. This batista needs to learn better customer service.

Staff isnt friendly at this location. Drinks are hit and miss. I also don't understand why you can't order the same things at each location. Ex: heated muffins or croissants. The overall inconsistency is frustrating.

I love Black Rock Coffee but today was disappointed when I thought I would try a croissant with ham and swiss and I got this! What a waste of my money. If this is normally how the sandwiches code with one piece of ham and no Swiss just take it off the menu it's not worth it!

Got a caramel frappuccino the one I usually always get at Starbucks 24 oz extra caramel double Blended the drink was made on point really delicious the atmosphere of course could be better but overall I love that place

Not tried the food coffee is awesome service is fast and pretty ces are not bad either.must try Irish cream coffee (hot) with whipped cream, also if have pet they have a partial cup or cream for you pet. Dd

It was a drive-through experience. It was my first time trying this establishment's coffee. And will definitely be my last.

Overpriced coffee That was entirely too sweet and too watery. I really regret this experience.

This was during my travels and on the go so I couldn't readily return and ask for another coffee.

The service wasn't the issue, it was the coffee. I just simply won't return to this organization because the coffee simply sucks. I would not recommend this coffee spot if you are an avid coffee lover and want your coffee made right the first time.

Came to get my teacher appreciation drink, and the lady making it apparently thought it looked like diarrhea and had no problem saying it out loud twice. Ouch!

Personable servers who always ask how one's day is going and/or if you have anything interesting going on. I love their hot Chai latte.

There's currently no walk up window but they still served me on my bike without giving me any trouble about it. The drinks are generally pretty good but definitely more on the "caffeinated milkshake" end of the coffee spectrum.

Refused to make a delivery order, didn't answer the phone when customer support called resulting in the customer being forced to cancel their order, all because of children being petty and not doing their job. Make drinks, answer the phone, do you job or go home.

The poor gentleman working is all alone with a huge line of customers. Be nice to your employees and get him some help! Delicious as always, I just feel so bad for this guy having to work extra, extra hard. Thanks for your hard work homie, and for the pup cup! Made our huskies day

Coffee is good. The lady working the window is unfortunately very rude. I overherd the two transactions in front of me. She was very rude to the customers. I ordered just a coffee, paid cash and tipped with the change. Made a point to smile and be nice. She I having a very bad day or needs a job at the DMV if she is always like that. Wow.

Normally great in person, but omg why is it impossible to find how many shots are in their drinks on any menu? I just want to order online, but no info and no number to call and ask.
