Blick Art Materials reviews
24There's blick artists prismacolor & holbein artists (150 set) colored pencils they have everything.
Block is a great place. Nice and big, but not enough to get lost in. Very friendly staff, and nice hand sanitizer at the door instead of wipes. You can even have your receipt emailed to save paper. Go check it out!
Super cool art store. I don't think I've ever seen so many art supplies in my life. They had anything I could think of and it was all for reasonable prices.
I wish I had the money to spend in there but I am still not receiving the better benefit amount!
Friendly staff helped me find what I was looking for. If you join their membership club you get their online prices. Clean store with good selection. Will come again.
This is the go-to place for art supplies in Portland. Lots of selection for practically any project you might have in mind, with very friendly helpful staff and competitive pricing, especially for the house brand, which is high quality. It's a really fun place to pick up what you need, or just to wander around and imagine new possibilities!
On their site they mention this about their customer service standards “we pride ourselves on offering the best customer service in the industry. ” I also noticed that they don’t provide any clear information about the in store covid policies. My wife and I just visited your Portland location in the pearl district and were kept from entering because our 2 year old can WALK! That is what the front door person said, he said if they walk they have to wear a mask! A 2 year old baby, we had to stuff our 2 year old into the storage compartment of our stroller which had our infant on top, too cold to wait outside and too fussy to be held. Would’ve just left if it wasn’t for the fact we went into town specifically for this one frame we ended up buying. This is the most unscientific ridiculous thing we’ve experienced since this started. So by this same logic you would prohibit a blind person from entering if their service dog wasn’t wearing a mask because it can walk? To top it off, when I questioned the absurd policy the front door person said “You should vote for Trump! ” They assumed that because we questioned the completely unscientific policy that we questioned it for political reasons and not because it is impossibly to make a 2 year old comply, the same way a service animal wouldn’t be able to, they get more rights that a 2 year old human. Shame on you.
Elgin in the Portland store is the best. He helped me find the oil painting supplies I wanted and hurried over to help me pay when I was carrying a heavy load of paper and other things. I hope he’s a manager!
Fav. Arts supply downtown. Employees are very knowledgeable and always willing to help in any way they can.
Everything for the pro and amateur artist. It's so easy to go down the rabbit hole and buy a bunch of stuff. Great prices.
If you need any art supplies made by basically any company, they have it. They also have everything else art related that you didn't think of before you left to go to the art supply store, and want as soon as you see it. They also do framing. Big, big store.
One can find just everything for archtecture and art. Perfect place. Nice attendants. Ask for member card and get discount from first shopping.
Not too shabby. Has most of the staples for any art project. Wished most of the staff were knowledgeable of their inventory.
Great place for a Creative of any level or stage. Endless choices to help you whisper, speak or shout as an artist. Non-artist? Don't be surprised if you think differently after wandering around in here.
Not an artist myself but the have lots of art supplies and the were helpful getting me what I needed
My favorite art store, they have everything. However, there is a difference between good service and feeling like you're being followed and suspected of stealing. But you'll never not find what you need with them asking you every two minutes, so I guess it's overall a good thing haha.
Every artist's dream in a building. Great selection of supplies, especially hard to find brands like Copic. Amazing prices for the quality of product they carry and even better sales.
This is a high end arts and crafts store. Feels more like a university art major's shop than a hobby shop. Compact urban floorplan makes browsing quick.
Not to bad for a nationally chain art store. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Student discount is on the low side compared to other stores.
I love this place! It's an artist's candy shop! They have everything you want, and can order anything not on display. Wish I could go there every week!
