On the edge of town. Not only a lodge with RV sites they no longer serve food. But not an issue there are a few nearby restauraunts and grocery stores just minutes away.

In the description it says 10 pull through sites. Well when we got here there was nothing posted about what site we were supposed to be in, I called the camp host, no answer. So we just pulled into a site. Come to find out not all of the
sites have 50 AMP services. So of course we start flipping all of the electrical boxes looking for 50 AMP. Now after being on the road all day we are frustrated. Finally a woman came out and said we are supposed to be on site 1 which is NOT a pull through. She says that we have to unhook the vehicle. We would have never booked a one night stop where you have to unhook your vehicle. Complete false advertising! I didn't expect anything grand it's a one night stop but what I don't appreciate is being fooled into believing that I won't have to unhook my vehicle. The only reason why the people next to us were able to pull in without unhooking is because they got the RV on their passenger side to unhook their vehicle and they barely made it. The rocks are big so if you have small dogs it is not friendly to their feet. No shade at all just an FYI. I will never come back on the premise of false advertising!

On our journey to Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, we found Bosch's Big Bear RV Park and Campground to be a practical stopover for the night.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the RV park was entirely graveled and level, making it easy to set up our RV. One of the owners showed remarkable hospitality by checking on us during our setup process and ensuring we didn't have any questions or issues. Their care and attentiveness added a personal touch to our experience.

It's worth noting that the on-site restaurant was closed during our visit, but the campground also includes a grassy area for tent camping situated conveniently next to the restaurant.

The downside to Bosch's Big Bear RV Park and Campground is that it didn't feel particularly inviting for an extended stay. The RV spots are closely spaced with little room to spread out outside the RV, which might feel a bit constricting if you're planning a longer stay. However, for a brief stopover, it served its purpose well, providing us with a safe and quiet place to park our RV for the night.

In summary, while Bosch's Big Bear RV Park and Campground might not be my first choice for a lengthy vacation, it certainly makes for a convenient, safe, and accommodating stopover spot when traveling through Hines, Oregon. The owner's care and hospitality are a particular highlight, making our brief stay a pleasant one.

Little mix up on who got what spot, but resolved in a short time. Nice and quiet. Recommend not pulling through to spot. Back in only unless you have a small rig.

We had waited to eat thinking we could get dinner at the restraunt only to find out it appears to be closed and now a private residence. The photo reviews would seem to indicate otherwise. Which is why the 3 stars as we considered the food as part of the reason to camp here. Other than that the spots are level and hook ups were no issues. Also very quiet considering the proximity to the highway.

Good place if you're just looking for a place to rest your head for the night. I do wish there was a walking path around the area as the only place to walk is right on the road.

Great overnighter or longer. Gravel fairly level. Had our site ready with our name on a tag upon arrival. Water pressure was excellent as was Electric. Well kept up. Didn't get into the huge lodge but it looks awesome. Would definitely recommend and will stop again when in the area.

We arrived at 4: 00 pm and as we have a fifth wheel with 2 slides I chose number 10 thinking it would be easiest to get in and out of. Unfortunately, there are large landscaping rocks around the hookups and we were unable to get close enough to the disposal. I tried the office and realized there is no office. Wi fi was advertised but no one to give us a password.

I was not expecting much based on the map on the site, but this is a nice place. Sites are back away from the road, and site 1, the only backup site, had a pretty nice view.

We are on our 6th visit in 3 years and we won't stay anywhere else in the Burns/Hines area. We truly appreciate a LEVEL parking area with well packed gravel, water, sewer and WIFI. We aren't big TV people so we don't care about cable. We have an AWESOME camp host this year. An added bonus.

Although basically a large level gravel parking lot, it has great views, good services (sewer, water, electricity, wi-fi), and has the potential to be a fabulous park as they invest in additional upgrades. Stayed twice and will again.

The owner's son Jack was very friendly and helpful. The sites and driving area are nicely gravelled. Easy in and out of sites and property for a 38' class A. The hook ups are well placed and easy to use. The location is quite, safe and has a beautiful view. The grounds are landscaped nicely and maintained well.

Traveling thru Hines needed a one night stop. It was convenient, easy to make reservations. A Great Price to boot.
We will definitely stay again.
Thanks

This was an excellent stay for us. The rate was good. The entrance and exiting was easy as well. The water was better than I expected, and the view was great! It was right off the highway, slightly up the hill. Give it a try, and see what you think.
