I recently had the most phenomenal facial experience with Laura at Bosk. From the moment I walked into Bosk, I was greeted with a warmest smile and outstanding service in this quaint little spot.

Once I settled into the treatment room, Laura’s expertise shone through. She conducted a thorough skin analysis to pinpoint my specific complexion needs and customized the facial accordingly. The products used were of the highest quality, providing a luxurious sensory experience. The facial's combination of massage techniques, masks, and high-tech tools left my skin feeling rejuvenated and radiant.

The real magic was in the results. My skin appeared noticeably smoother, brighter, and more youthful, and the effects continued to improve in the days following the treatment. I heard about the secret jungle room from PDXtoday online and initially I was drawn to the adorable neon sign plus I’m a sucker for a precious plant shop. Then the price for a facial was impossible to resist- I had to book! I’m so grateful I did! Laura is kind and welcoming, the shop is open and airy and that jungle room… So relaxing! One of the best facials I’ve ever had. It’s going to be a regular occurrence for me. This is indeed a secret gem and I highly recommend you book immediately.

I came for a facial with Laura and it was the most lovely time. You can tell she puts passion, creativity and knowledge into every aspect of the space and experience. My skin is still glowing 3 days later. I loved it and I can't wait to go back. I definitely recommend her services if you want to relax and enjoy some self care.

Last week i was lucky enough to experience Laura's hydro facial - a micro dermabrasion facial with vacuum that sucks away all the dead skin cells.my face is still feeling soft and clean over a week later.as a former esthetician, i'm impressed with all the details of the jungle room - beautiful decor, comfortable bed, and delicious smelling product - and with the cool new tools Laura brings into her studio.

I’ve had two facials so far by Laura at Bosk and I am hooked! Walking into The Jungle Room, I’m instantly at ease- soft music, low lighting and comfortable blankets.
The facial themselves are amazing, Laura also uses massage during the treatment which is the absolute best. I really have enjoyed the products she uses and this last time I had a jelly mask done, it was so cooling and refreshing for the summer weather.
Highly recommend Laura and Bosk, I even got my mom a gift card for a facial for Mother’s Day.

This is such a fun and unique shop. They have the best houseplants and the staff are happy to advise you on how to care for them. There's cool pots and stickers. On Saturdays sometimes they'll have another vendor pop up outside with pastries or flowers. It's a real gem on NE 42nd.

I just received the best facial/massage combo yesterday. It was hands down the most relaxing and overall therapeutic facial I’ve ever had. It’s a screaming great deal too. I highly recommend it!

My new favorite plant and all things lovely store! When I’m there I kinda wanna hang out…maybe move in, I dunno? ! From the creative curation of the space, the talented and sweet owner Laura (and her sidekick shop dog Nacho), the multiple plants now adorning my home, to the variety of goodies, it’s a no brainer. I just scheduled my first facial too sooooo…. It’s a whole experience. The knowledge I’ve gained and the variety of plants I’ve become familiar with is also noteworthy.

This is my go-to plant, candle, record, home decor and gift shop. Bonus - they also do amazing facials in their Jungle Room! This business is local, women-owned and the owner so lovely. So grateful to have this shop in the neighborhood:)

A cute lil hidden gem of a plant shop! Not only do they have plants, there’s home decor from local small businesses, records, and they offer facials in their jungle room! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. Really can’t say enough good things about this wonderful shop.

At first I was displeased when the barbershop went away but this place is even better.
It's spacious, open, full of natural light. Nice variety of species to choose from and compare. Local ceramics and assorted plant accoutrements. A curation of a bunch of other mostly local natural and plant-based products: coffee, tea, soap, incense, candles, etc. Also selling records.
