Bowpicker Fish and Chips reviews
13Been to this place around 10 times, I've always liked the thin batter they used, but this time I noticed the batter was a little thicker. And less fries.
Really good fish, very meaty pieces. Fries are ok. If I arrived and the line were down the street, I’d probably come back another time, but certainly worth the stop!
Best fish and chips, I've ever had.
Definitely a must see when in Astoria. The breading is perfect and the price is right️
Great fish-n-chips.cash only. Well worth the wait in line. Took our food up to the Astoria Column and ate with a view.
First time having tuna fish and chips.it has a more firm (instead of flaky) texture than I am used to, but so, so good! Tasty steak fry-style chips too. Arrive early and you won't have to wait in line! There are a couple picnic tables across the street.
Bowpicker serves Tuna Fish and chips from a boat that is set up on a corner lot. Carryout is the only option, but there are a few picnic tables nearby. The batter is crispy, the tuna is tasty and the chips are steak cut fries. Look out for hungry crows. We certainly will eat here again the next time we are in Astoria. One member of my family times his trips from WA so he can eat here on his way to the Central Oregon Coast.
Love this place. Tiny little "food truck" which is actually a boat. Best fish and chips ever! They use tuna rather than cod or halibut and it is lightly battered and done to perfection The lines can be long, but always worth the wait!
Their fish is so greasie and I don't think they change the oil that often. Fishmongers in hammond is way better with more than double portions.
Great fish, fries are alright, friendly staff, long line. But, hey, it's like a rite of passage to eat here.
Best fish and chips in the Pacific Northwest. Worth the drive and the price is very reasonable.
Very good fish n chips. I'm not as big of a fan of tuna as halibut but it was good.
Get there early there is always a line if that says something.
Best Fish & Chips I've had in a long time. Very dense fish and the chips were cooked perfectly
Seriously the BEST Fish n Chips I've ever had! My husband and I were traveling from Washington and stopped here for a quick bite! I hope this plays stays around because we will be back! The fish batter was light and fluffy and crisp and the fish was hot and absolutely delicious! The couple working were so nice! Can't wait to go back
