Bridgewater Bistro reviews
18Audrie was the most wonderful waitress she was so kind and attentive! The food was absolutely superb! Best restaurant on the coast! I highly recommend the soups and salads! The iced tea was delicious! The view cannot be beat!
Nice newer restaurant with a view. Food was excellent and so was their service. Right under the Astoria - Megler bridge.
Very nice little cafe, very friendly. Will train staff. Good view of the river, good location. I've eaten there a couple of times, always had a good meal.
Server was a wonderful person named Nicole.
She knew so much about the history of the establishment and the local area I was highly impressed and in awe as we had conversations about the history of such a beautiful dining facility.
Food was fantastic kudos to the Chef from one Chef To another.
The best dining experience I have had in Astoria.
Highly recommend
The restaurant and the server.
Piano was a amazing addition to a already wonderful atmosphere
Beautifully designed restaurant with an excellent view of the bridge and river. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately during my recent visit to lunch, the food was subpar to say the least. The vegetarian white bean dish was incredibly dry with no flavor and no seasoning. My piece of salmon was overcooked and again no flavoring or seasoning. It's unfortunate given what a beautiful location this is. I was expecting a culinary destination considering everyone recommends this restaurant.
Very nice little bistro. Live music late in week. Service was wonderful, food was good, but a little excessive on use of butter. View of Columbia River is pretty good.
Here with my wife for New Year’s Eve. Still as amazing as when we had our engagement dinner here! Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere!
Couldn’t accommodate small requests, we had to leave the restaurant- so disappointed
Our day was spoiled due to this restaurant
We ate here with my inlaws for a belated Christmas dinner and it was great! It's a little spendy but it was nice to treat ourselves. We had the fish and chips and fettuccine alfredo with chicken and shrimp. Super yummy! The service was great too and friendly. We were originally going to be seated upstairs but my elderly father in law couldnt handle that with his health. The hostess was so kind and made sure we got a table that was easy for him to get to. I'm looking forward to coming for my birthday in a few months:)
It's worth every penny, we had reservations for new year eve, place was packed but right on time we got our table, we already started celebrating at bar very friendly bartender, service was amazing, my lady liked seafood and I am meat lover, live jazz music and we had unforgettable night, thanks to all hard working people and gift of great service and food,
Great place with great views. I suggest getting a reservation then maybe you will get a window with a view. We did not have one and were sat in a corner away from the windows. The Hungarian mushroom soup was delicious.
If I could give a higher rating on service, I would. Katie was just a delight as our server (I think I got her name right), taking care of us in light of a backed up kitchen. We were well attended to by everyone from beginning down to our dessert! Food was great as well. We had salmon and the apricot salad. Excellent.
We had a very nice meal there on Christmas Eve. The joint was jumping and had a lovely positive vibe. Our meals were fantastic, splitting a clam appetizer and bouillabaisse. Seafood was very fresh and delicious.
Service was just as good as the food! Our waiter was funny and attentive. Gave us great info to help us decide. Felt genuine when he offered his opinion on a menu item to help us choose when indecisive. Everything was great. Atmosphere felt classy, and food was very reasonably priced, and was served pretty quickly.
Thanks for a great evening!
Great atmosphere and good food. A great place to go for special occasions or just date night
We have been coming here for many years. The food has always been top notch! The atmosphere and the staff always make it our number one choice when we are in the area. It truly made our Christmas Eve special.
The views from this restaurant are very beautiful! The way the dining room is laid out really adds to it. Our server was excellent. Polite and professional yet still very friendly! I had the Hungarian mushroom soup! Amazing! It was a really great lunch for the girls!
Terrific experience! The atmosphere is very nice. Beautiful water view, soft lighting, simple yet elegant decor and beautiful piano create the perfect ambiance. Service was fantastic! Our server was personable and extremely efficient. She knew the menu well and was easily able to assist us in ordering gluten free meals for our 3 Celiac kiddos. The food was superb! They have so many gluten free options and everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. We are new to the area and was looking for a nice meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Bridgewater Bistro didn’t disappoint! The desserts are great as well. They even still give a dessert for birthdays! They also have several gluten free desserts as well, my kids were very excited for that. Overall it was a great experience and we will most definitely be returning!
