My mom was referred to the Bristol Hospice in Hood River, OR, when it was clear that she was terminal. We didn't know what to expect and my mom was apprehensive but there was no need. Every caregiver we dealt with was compassionate, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make my Mom's last days as comfortable as possible. They helped her and they helped those of us who were with her 24/7 know how to take care of her. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for having such a positive impact on my mom and her caregivers.

When your heart and soul need help to understand and manage the inevitable loss of a loved one, you will be blessed if Bristol Hospice comes into your life. The woman from Bristol we are working with immediately brought comfort, compassion and most importantly, guidance to the care of our mother. She explained the focus of hospice is the comfort of the one who is leaving us and how we all were part of that process. In that process there will be ebbs and flows, good days and bad days, and they can offer help not only to the one who will be passing but also the loved ones facing that loss. The amazing woman from Bristol is the arm around my shoulder that I didn't even know I was seeking.

Everyone that dealt with my dad were very compassionate, honest, friendly, and supportive. They all made him feel comfortable and he was able to pass peacefully. My brother and I also were comforted with the care and how supportive they were to us. We can’t thank them enough.

My Dad passed soon after we were officially on hospice but in that short time, Bristol Hospice really helped me ease his transition. In those moments that I needed support to make sure I was doing everything I could to take care of my Daddy, Bristol was there with everything I needed!

I cannot say enough good things about Bristol Hospice! They have been so kind, compassionate, and extremely competent. If my mother, or I, have any issues whatsoever, every employee we speak to goes to great lengths to handle our issue quickly and efficiently.

These are some very beautiful people. They are what you would expect from The Great Norhtwest. Top Noch Fisrtcass. But most of all careing. Careing goes both ways though. Their are a few that are being trained to be the future of Heart of hospice. You must allow for this with a smile. Then if an i mean if you must say something say it in a nice way. Love yall.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about our experience with heart of hospice. The nurses were all kind, caring and amazing. They were always willing to answer any of our questions and explain how to do things we were unsure of or having trouble with.
The phone/office staff were always kind, understanding and helpful. I never waited more than 5 minutes for a call back, even after hours. If we asked, someone would be right over for whatever we needed. Even if that was just reassurance. They even offered to pick up prescriptions and bring to our house which is about 30 minutes from everywhere in the gorge. The comfort, caring and kindness they provided our family during a very stressful time was above and beyond, from the first visit until the last we couldn't have asked for more. They even told us that they will be there for us for the next 18 months (after his passing) for whatever support we may need. WOW!
