My husband and I are looking at buying a dining table for our small space. We were told to go to Walmart. I informed the staff person I did not like buying particle board furniture. If I did, I would have already bought it. I think because we're young and people of color he assumed we were poor. Little did he know we can afford anything there! Don't do business here.

Writing a year after our purchase. We bought a sectional, and paid a fair amount for it. About 3 months in, despite some an absurd amount of effort to sit “evenly” in all spots, there’s uneven sagging, and the furniture looks closer to ten years old than one. We’re not too hard on furniture, and all weigh south of 180 lbs. So this is an unfortunate case of poor workmanship, major retail markup, or a bit of both.

Our salesman, Joel, was helpful and courteous and we ended up buying several bookcases and a television cabinet.

They were courteous and friendly.
The item was well wrapped and they put it just where I asked.

We have another order that will not be arriving for around 15 weeks.
Here's hoping that order goes as smooth as this one did.

Good quality furniture. Broadway accepted my request for alternate pillows without charge. Furniture delivery was revised to accommodate my schedule.

This is my go to furniture store from now on. They are helping me with an order that was messed up by another furniture store. They have been great!

Advice for incoming customers, the west building contains furniture for dining room, living rooms, and bedrooms.

If you are seeking any other room furniture you won't find much.

Of course they offer to order anything they have in their catalog.

I was disappointed I was even offered something out of a catalog.

I could just as easily order something online, why would I order from a catalog.

On my way out, a salesman asked me if I needed help and I had informed him what I was looking for and the only options they had in the west building.

In which he informed me that he could look for something in a catalog, I stated it was OK and then I departed.

I drove by the other building (east building) on my way to the post office this morning and noticed that the other building was full of furniture.

It could have possessed the desk chair I have been hunting for.

Too bad, I went to staples this morning and got exactly what I was seeking.

Super comfy desk chair 149.99 with 3 year replacement warranty on wear and tear.

Go get them before they are out.

They only had 2 left when I just left.

Great guys at the showroom and they came through for my family and I. We are new to the area and every one was very friendly and helpful, including the delivery team.

We went into the Tigard store, hoping to find a coffee table that matched the one we had purchased full price at Ashley furniture on 5/24/2021, after waiting for the table up until Feb.of 2022, we decided to look else where for the same, of similar product, Upon meeting with Ken, he did a lot of research on what we were looking for, he advised us to wait, it was scheduled to be here in May as it was a special table. NOW Ashley tells us, it won't be here until Aug of 2022, so were back on the hunt. Ken was wonderful help and information, and If I'm ever going to look for more furniture, I will definitely go see Ken, as he takes the care he needs in helping people and is honest, which I have not felt with Ashley.

Bought a couch here after moving across the country. All of the very nice furniture was out of our price range and after talking to the owner he helped us find something more in our price range and explained what the differences in quality would be without pressuring us to buy something out of our price range. He was very honest and helpful.

Great customer service! Really made the hassle of buying furniture feel easy and the delivery was a breeze. Couch is very cute and comfortable and has made my new living room feel like home. Love that this couch was made by hand in Portland and the lifetime warranty is a big plus! Highly recommend!

I am late to writing this review, but I didn't want to not share my thoughts.
In the past when I've gone to furniture stores, I have gotten agitated with either too much pushiness or just overall lack of service. I went into Broadway last November, looking to buy a new sectional sofa and Ken gave me the best service from the start. He helped me look up measurements and details of the ones I had interest in. I never felt like he was trying to push anything on me and her never made me feel like I was 'just another sale'. When I finally picked my sectional out, he took the time to sit and help guide me with picking out a color for the sofa as well as the pillows. He gave me insight and feedback on patterns, as my well as what colors might fit best in my house and why (I had a picture of my living room).
I placed my order at the height of covid, and unfortunately that caused a several month delay that was out of Ken's control, for the delivery of my couch. Also, because of covid and having less staff, when my couch did arrive, Ken and his son came and delivered it to my house themselves. They were even kind enough to move my old furniture to my garage for me, even though I don't think that's part of their typical practice (don't quote me on that).
I have been very pleased with my purchase, and I absolutely recommend Broadway furniture. Especially during current times, when locally owned businesses are taking such a hit. They have been a part of the Portland community for so long and their service shows in the reason for that.

We bought a custom bedroom set from BWF a couple of months ago. It didn't turn out exactly as we were expecting when it arrived, however, Ken worked with us to make sure we were satisfied with the purchase. He personally came to our house and inspected the furniture, loaded it up, took it back to their warehouse, and adjusted the areas of concern. When it came back, he ensured everything was to our liking and that all of our concerns were now rectified. We appreciate his willingness to stand behind his products and make sure his customers are happy. This level of service is uncommon these days and we are wholeheartedly appreciative. We love the bedroom set, and look forward to doing business with BWF in the future.

We had been looking for a sofa for nearly a month. We decided to head outside of Portland on a Thursday, and Broadway Furniture was our first stop. I looked around for a bit and fell in love with this sofa as soon as I saw it. Our salesperson, Joel, was amazing. We went to get a bite to eat & discuss it. We figured we would sleep on it but after our meal, we didn’t want to risk it being gone. We went back and said we’ll take it! While waiting for Joel to finish up w/ other customers, we walked around and that’s when I spotted the coolest monkey ever. I immediately knew he would make a perfect vibe guardian. I named him Sergio and announced he shall be ours.
We were able to get delivery set for mid-day the following Tuesday. When Evan and Daniel arrived, I quickly learned a lesson. While I had measured for the fit in my living room, I neglected to measure for fit in the elevator or stairwell, as well as through my front door. There were a number of uncertain assessments followed my absolutely masterful work by the guys. They literally turned the impossible into the possible without ever rubbing an inch of the couch on anything but the floor they placed it on in my living room. These guys are just plain miracle workers! But don’t expect them to do the impossible: measure everything they will need to maneuver through!

Broadway Furniture employees have given us excellent service. We purchased our furniture and it was delivered by two people that were professional and courteous. They offer a variety and even have contacts for quality custom furniture if you have a need. Thank you - June 2021 - we will return soon for another purchase.

I went shopping for a mattress with my husband, and I loved the experience. Ken the owner was extremely helpful of what we were looking for, helped answering our questions. The furniture their is worth the money you pay. It has all the styles that you are looking for. I really recommend buying furniture at Broadway furniture.
