Brookdale Forest Grove reviews
9I love Brookdale Forest Grove. I think the food is amazing and they have great big apartments with balconies. Very warm and friendly. The staff runs to help. They are very kind and compassionate. They also are very pet friendly.
My experience has been very lovely in the past month I have been here. I have found both of the ladies in sales that I spoke to Made me feel very comfortable and special. Now that I have been here awhile I have met several people that helped me come out of my shell they have been very kind.
The food here is very delicious. The cook pays great attention to preparing home cooked meals.
The care givers are so sweet, even when they are very busy they still spend time caring about my day. They make me want to cry.
I love the fact that I still see Deb (sales) on a regular basis. I am looking forward to volunteering with Pruella the Activities Director. She’s Amazing. She always makes time for me.
Moderate staff turnover rate, though there are some amazing employees who have made this their home. I would not send someone who has Dementia here. Management is the real problem. The place is absolutely disgusting and they refuse to do anything about it.
Working here has been amazing. Everyone helps each other, the residents are always so friendly and there smiles bring light to my day. I have worked at a couple other assisted living places that were horrible. This is by far the best place I have ever seen.
I worked for this community for 3 months and can't even begin to count the horrors that I saw the residents go through. The care givers are lazy and refuse to do any real work, some residents were tied to the bed at night, one resident managed to cover himself in his own feces and no one did anything, people were denyes shower assistance just so care givers wouldn't have to work. If you care about your loved ones, do not put them in this home.
My grandmother has lived in 3 asst living facilities. None compare to Brookdale! Being out of country while she has needed care has been hard. The level of care and attention to her needs (and craziness lol) is unmatched. I wish we had moved her here off the bat. I can't say enough about the staff! Thanks!
I love working at Brookdale of Forest Grove. I have been at this community for 13 years. I have met so many amazing people here. The residents are like an extended part of my family. The staff is always willing to help with whatever they can. My parents also lived here at this community for awhile until my Dad passed. They also liked it here. They made some good friend and they loved all of the different activities they had to say offer. I would recommend coming in to see what we have to offer your loved ones.
I love working at Brookedale! The staff are all so sweet and caring along with our residents. I have been working here for about 2 months now and I have nothing but good things to say about everyone here!
Working for this company in the beginning was great. THEN new management moved in- this whole place is a scam. They over charge and throw fees on top of residents, residents are miserable living at this community. Employees are dropping like flies due to the hostile work environment and not getting paid for the hours they put in. Numerous people have left due to not getting paid and cut short on their paychecks or NOT PAID AT ALL for the work they put in. I highly suggest not moving to this community. At the end of the day I feel terrible for the residents living there at the moment and I wouldn't want anyone else's family members going through that.
