A great visit! Everyone was very professional and friendly. They really knew what they were doing.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Took their time and made sure all my questions were answered before I left. Dr Brune even offered to obtain outside records to give me a second opinion on an undiagnosed issue I am having.

I have been going to Brune Dermatology for approximately 4 months to lessen the appearance of spider veins on my face and Mikki has been taking care of me. First, the staff is welcoming and the wait is short before I’m called back by Mikki. Second and most importantly, Mikki makes me feel relaxed and comfortable and the laser technique she is using on my spider veins is definitely working. I would recommend Brune Dermatology but most of all I would recommend Mikki, she’s been awesome!

Efficient but thorough. I wish I had gotten a referral to Dr. Brune over a year ago. Very appreciative to have a plan of treatment and a doctor who listens to my concerns and experience.

Rarely have to wait. Pretty waiting room. Nice staff. Very patient with their "patients". I have multiple issues and require multiple procedures, so it can be confusing. Mikki is especially great. So far, I'm very pleased with the service.

One star is simply too high of a rating. Having read reviews prior to visiting the clinic I was aware of billing issues other clients have experienced. Before proceeding with an appointment I asked about billing and the costs associated with a procedure. I was told it would cost $50 - $100 without any insurance coverage. The clinic neglected to properly inform me of all costs associated with the procedure. I now have 2 bills with a sum of $708. If you wish to be lied to, this is the clinic for you.

I was told the procedure would be covered by insurance. I was shocked to receive a bill for over 60% and when I called the office for an explanation, they did not care and did nothing to rectify the situation.

I went to Brune to have a growth on my arm checked out. Dr. Brune took a biopsy and kept telling me that she believed it was cancerous, not exactly comforting bedside manor. I was told I would be contacted regarding the results within a week. Ten days later I finally called them to find out if they had the results. Luckily the results were negative, but they had never bothered to let me know. After 2 months I went back because the open wound that had been created was not healing. I was told that this was normal and to not worry about it. A year later it has still not healed and I have decided to go to a REAL doctor of dermatology that is interested in patient care and not profit. Unless you are looking for overpriced face creams or want laser hair removal please consider one of the many other dermatologists around town!

I absolutely love this office and staff! I visited 4 times in total. Each time, I received great service from reception, assistants, and Dr. Brune. Everyone has great personality and are so so friendly! Every solution for my complaints was perfect and effective.

Had a couple of moles removed by Dr. Brune over the past three years and several visits with teen child regarding acne. We never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes which is nothing compared to other specialists I have seen. Personal treatment was always extremely professional and cordial, lots of patience in trying to understand symptoms of condition from child and in explaining treatment and skin care routine. My mole removals were rather painless and healed fast as predicted. All in all my experience with this dermatologist has been excellent and I have recommended her to many friends (who are regular patients of hers now)

I am not happy with this office. I had a procedure in 8/13 and the insurance paid and then the office rebilled in 4/14 and received another payment, then 1/15 they billed the insurance company and now it is over one year and they tried to bill me. I called my insurance co.and they said I don't owe anything. As far as the doctor goes she is always in a hurry and charges a surgery for each skin problem removed even if it takes a few seconds. The bill is huge and you don't feel like you can ask a question because she is so quick. I will never go here again.

After reading the other reviews hours before my first appointment, I was a bit braced for a negative experience. Dr Brune was booked months out (I gather she is on the faculty at Western Oregon University), so I made an appointment with her physician's assistant Kelly O'Brian for a routine sun damage check. The office staff took care of all the paperwork efficiently, were kind and helpful, and everything was on time. Kelly was highly attentive, spent time explaining different treatment options, answered all of my questions in great detail and generally was extremely helpful. All and all an excellent experience and I look forward to going back for follow-up. I would highly recommend seeing the physician's assistant, who handles everything but the more technical surgeries.

DON'T GO HERE.
I went to this office a while back to get bumps on my legs looked at. The first doctor came in and just appeared to have no experience what so ever. Then finally Dr. Brune came in. In the five minutes that she actually saw me (5 minutes here is like $300 by the way), she was completely rude, dismissed all of my concerns in an aggressive and annoyed manor, and proceeded to tell me that I needed to take 600 mg of zinc every day for the next six months for my skin to get better.
I began taking zinc and within two days, I was vomiting and showing signs of heavy metal overdose. I looked started looking around (like I admittedly, should have done earlier). People aren't supposed to take more than 7-10 mg of zinc a day. Prolonged zinc exposure of six months at 600 mg would have left me with kidney failure and neurological damage. 1 g of zinc could have potentially killed someone my size. I called the office angry as hell and asked what dosage they wanted me to take of zinc was just to be sure. 600 mg alright.
Dr. Brune's dermatology office should be shut down for malpractice.

Made two separate appointments for my husband and I for skin checks. Dr was late by 1 hour+, no apologies or excuses given. Then, much to my horror and utter disbelief, they took my husband and I back to the exam room together, we disrobed, put on gowns and Dr and newbies came in and gave us the once over together! However, we were billed for separate exam. Too much for us. We moved on to better Dr.s

I was happy with exam, mole removal, a call a week later. Wait was about average for a Dr's office.
Next apt l, wait was an hour. Happy with Dr and procedure. Front desk made a mistake on bill and under charged, then canceled it and billed again next day. Not thrilled about that, but she was nice. I think it's fine.
I was also advised to take extra zinc. Will have to research that. I say 3 stars. I will go back, I like Dr Brune.

I have not been pleased with the service that Dr. Brune gives. Procedures and treatment options were not explained up front so that an informed consent could be reached between myself and the physician. I have instead been unknowingly charged with excessive fees for elective procedures because this MD failed to explain to me my options. Charges always need to be discussed thoroughly particularly for benign skin lesions! The office management further frustrates this by their unwillingness to listen to grievances and failed to provide me with my options. I felt that I was treated very poorly by this medical team and I don't recommend them at this time.

1. Like so many other dermatologists, the waiting list is long. I was a new client. Took 3 months to get in.
2. Cancelled on me with a day's notice and reschedule for a few weeks later.
3. Cancelled rescheduled second appointment on me. I had taken a day of work off to make the appointment and the cancellation was just a couple hours from the time and I did not get the message until I had left work
.
For me, that is just too much. Either the doctor's life is in a shambles, or the schedule is too tight and they have to pair it down during the day, or there is some other form of incompetence going on there. Cancelling a client twice before that client ever gets to the office is bad form. I declined to reschedule again because a doctor that does not make me a priority from the beginning will not give me due priority to the mole I need checked out.

Went in for a freckle that was painful to the touch. Was seen for 5 minutes, given a pamphlet on sunscreen, sent on my way, and charged $200. When I tried to call to verify the bill, I left two messages and was finally called back the day my payment was due. The woman in billing left me a message with the wrong extension. Finally got patched through to her by reception and she didn't address any of my concerns about the bill. I ended up just paying it so I would never have to deal with them again. My freckle still hurts.
