Budget Inn Gladstone

The toilet did not drain. The sink did not drain. I was afraid to shower because of the drain. I could not plug in my phone because the electric outlets did not work. I knew they knew about the toilet because there was a plunger behind the toilet. Three doors down a women was up most of the night cussing at the people she was with.

I had a problem with my key card on the second night and couldn't access my room. I had to spend the night in my car. I was very frustrated towards the morning desk lady. But she ended up calling me and making it right even though I was very rude and heated. They are all very nice. Rooms are clean. All residents are very friendly. Thank you Budget Inn.

The woman working at the frount desk on Tuesday September 13th 2022 @ 3: 00 pm was not only on her cell phone but useing the company phone handeling personal dealings. 2 weeks ago I had paid and ordered the paint for my car from the Hyundai Dealership Next Door to your motel. The dealership was doing parking lot construction so I had pulled into the parking lot of your business and parked my car and walked into the frount office to ask if i could park my car in the parking lot long anuff for me to run next door and pick up the paint i already had ordered and paid for and was ready for me to pick it up and if its any inconvenience I would be more the happy to pay $30 to park my car for only 5 mins. The lady rolled her eyes and rudely huffed and puffed and said and I Quote " Im on the phone and no get lost get out of hear leave you cant go now i have more important things im doing. " and Quote. Never have i ever be treated so rude and disrespectful by a employee of any kind from any company and I work as the Manager at the Downtown Portland Hilton Never would I ever consiter talking to any customer or none customer in that manner. Im 100% awear you are a franchise and i will be emailing and calling corporate and notifying them of what happened and includeing a copy of this email in the email im sending them.

Manager tried to tell my boyfriend that we broke the bed that we were in before we switched rooms when it was already broken! Earlier today read the review on someone saying there was a broken bed, probably the same room. There was lots of ants in the kitchen. Overall nice lady gave us towels and the usual. Overall I have high standards for rooms & Im only honest with my rating.

Older building, showing it's age some focus on maintenance would bring up the quality of the facility. Had ants roaming the kitchen countertop.

The owner of the establishment lives on site; along with the manager. They have a great camera system; and they use it.
The manger is a very frank kinda woman; straight to the point. And doesn’t mess around. We’re all adults right? - unfortunately people suck; and the hotel industry isn’t an easy one. Kathy is very kind hearted and she has a tough job to do.
Guest services/maids - are fantastic. Kind, polite, respectful, prompt, and easy to deal with. Daily knocks for towels, and they don’t really bother you other than that.
The Wi-Fi is free; parking is free. No breakfast. Free cable TV. Rooms are decent sized; bed has been quite nice. Fluffy pillows. Fridge stays frozen and phone works just fine. Water pressure is marginal; but can’t complain
The parking lot is/was getting repaved and made parking difficult at first; it’s 3/4 of the way done now and parking is much more accommodating.

Usually has ant problem. Toilet does not work most the time. No maintenence man so u have to fix stuff your self or deal with it.

What hotel does not allow guests? I'm paying for 7 days. I'd rather enjoy my time with the company of my calm friend's elsewhere then

Ive travled from Oregon To San Diego 12 times the past year in a half (due to my mothers cancer) traveling back and fourth has become normal at this point, i don't hold high expectations and I usually give some slack, im busy and not picky.
I stayed at The Budget Inn August 24th -25th. I also made a reservation and paid online.
From the Moment i got there the blonde evening lady told me she didnt have any reservations, (than found saw my reservarion) no biggie i paid $130 which is a lot more than this place is worth. Not only was my room a non smoking room but i smelled like an ashtray, my heater didnt work, my T. V internet wasn't paid for and during my stay i had no T. V, my refrigerator didn't work. I was in room 208! Drain flies in the sink and my microwave was unplugged in order to plug it in i had to take out a scary cable from the wall as an electrician this is ridiculous. Anyways i came to the front to complain i didnt ask for any money back and the gentleman said there was nothing he could do and told me to wait for Barb? Like i know anyone here, why cant i complain in the main office. Just wanted the next person not to have this experience.

The gaster I wouldn't give this place more than a two-star there's more in the rooms they smell the staff isn't friendly the owners and friendly they they don't deserve to have the place that needs to be fixed up and cleaned up before I would give it any more of a star

Management is badass there housekeeping rules love the lady's that are for you with the items that are needed thanks peace and love Dutch

I recommend this motel, first of all the manager is Awesome! Very understanding and easy to talk to. I am satisfied with the room I got, beds are comfortable, well maintained been here for almost 2 months and I have no issues at all until this day!

The house cleaning maids are very nice and very good especially the blonde one that goes by the name Heidi very friendly and personable and has great cleavage I definitely recommend her as my house cleaning made please tip them well they deserve every penny.

Very over priced for bad service and poor quality rooms. Very sketchy keep your vehicles secured and the doors to your room
