Absolutely no problems. After reading reviews, I called ahead to confirm that they had the truck, which they did. One note: I was able to book a 6pm pickup through the corporate site, which is when this location closes, so they recommended I come in at 5: 30pm instead. Quick and easy otherwise.

Absolutely horrible. Do yourself a favor, and listen to the reviews. They aren't wrong. Cancelled reservation on me literally hours before my pick up time, on the day I'm supposed to move.

Complete garbage company.

They leave a message and then No answer.
Update! They really tried to help me me out, but things just didn't work out. Only one person on shift makes it hard to answer the phone.

Reserved a truck weeks in advance, got emails confirming the rental multiple times including the day before pickup, but when I arrived they were all out. They claimed to have "called me about it, " (and I verified they had my correct phone number) but I never received a call, voicemail, or even missed call. Thankfully the nearby U-Haul had a truck available. Skip the bs, go to another truck rental from the get-go

Rented a cargo van in May 2022 to move a big table and 6 chairs. When I arrived, the checkout process went smoothly, and I was on the road quickly. The van was a good deal (cost less than paying a mover) and drove nicely. Gotta admit I was a little nervous because it was bigger than I really needed, but the price was good, and it all worked out. The return went smoothly, too.

Raia, the person who assisted me, was friendly and helpful. She even parked the van for me because I didn't feel comfortable backing into the space.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews here because my experience was quite positive. I would definitely rent from this place again.

Reserved a 26ft truck over a month in advance. Got an email 3 days before pickup confirming the reservation.received a call two days before pickup saying they didn't have any trucks of any size available and are canceling my reservation. What is the point of reserving a truck if they don't have them? Looking over the reviews shows they do this to people a lot. Do not use this company. They don't care how it messes up your plans and they clearly don't care about the customer.

We have movers we have airline tickets and we are told there are no trucks that we reserved over a month ago! Beware, when you reserve a truck they do not guarantee there will be a truck available! That makes a lot of sense.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would have. They called me 30 minutes before my pick up reservation for the moving box truck to tell me they didn't have the box truck but were downgrading me to cargo van. Ok whatever I guess I can make that work. Than I get a call now 10 minutes before I am to pick up the cargo van and they tell me oh the cargo van is broken we have nothing for you. So on a Saturday morning needing a moving truck I have nothing and am stuck calling around trying to find something that can help me move furniture. This was all dealt with the manager Raia.

Everything went very smooth. Great service and direct no hidden fees. I always used Uhaul this time I learned go with this budget

Booked a moving truck a few weeks in advance, received our confirmation, and they had no truck available when we went to pick up. No call to warn us. Luckily there are other moving truck companies within a 10 min drive otherwise we would have had a moving crew without a truck.

Discriminates against disabled veterans. I made a reservation (confirmation #1808234772578) 1 month ago and confirmed everything for a move tomorrow. I received a call this evening from Raia - the GM (refused to give her last name) that she had rented my truck to amazon. She said the only other employee there was Sean the operator. I believe the rented my truck to someone else because they saw that I am a retired Marine and used a military discount code to make the reservation.

I drove 90 minutes to find that they did not have my truck. Desk jockey was surprised I did not get a phone call. He called around and found 2 trucks available in Vancouver. Luckily I called VC myself to find no trucks available. This is my second awful experience with Budget. Two years ago, they leased a truck a 1000 mile trip that had no coolant. Do not do business here.

Reserved a 16’ truck on March 13th prior to our move to Phoenix. Went in to pick up the truck and they said they had no trucks available! The lady said all the other trucks sitting on the lot were inoperable. Totally ruined our plans

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Planned on move for two months made reservations and did my due diligence. Have moving Cree ready and no truck! It came in broken and they couldn’t bother themselves to call and let me know. They offered cargo van instead of a 26’ truck. Never use budget.

The price was three times higher than uhaul, the counter person was surly, tried to give me a broken handtruck, took forever to process the vehicle and the vehicle was filthy with mud all over the cab of the truck. When I looked in the cab they even sad "you can smoke in the truck if you want to". Wow!

I had it back in under three hours had to go back to the gas station for a top off and was hoping to deal with someone who maybe enjoyed their job and had customer service skills. Nope.surly was still there moving at a glacial Pace with attitude.

I will never use their service again. I learned my lesson to always go to Uhaul where they are their to help you, have clean vehicles, and know what customer service is all about.

My coworker rented a truck for one-way this past weekend from Tigard to Yakima. Several issues:
1. Inside of truck was grimy and disgusting.
2. When they got to load location, opened the back of the truck to find a homeless persons belongings. Included were a backpack, load blankets, a light and more. No person was in there, but it was clear someone had been living inside the truck. Unfortunately, with the timeline, those things were discarded.
3. On her drive to Yakima, WA, it was raining, and the roof had a very bad leak (looks like it had been previously caulked with silicone, but that's not working anymore). It was leaking all over her, and she also put an additional sweatshirt over her shoulder, where it was leaking on her, and that sweatshirt ended up being soaked as well.

Just got a call from Budget that they need to cancel my reservation because they have no trucks to rent out until next year. Not sure why they allowed me to make the reservation in the first place then. Have a long move in a couple weeks and very disappointing that this did not work out and now I have to find a new rental truck that will probably cost quite a bit more now.
