Buffalo Exchange reviews
25I used to shop here all the time I've noticed a strong change in prices everything has gotten so much more expensive here.
Good place for thrifting. Found a few great things every visit I've done. You'll find a decent selection of shirts, coats, dresses, skirts, shoes, boots, accessories etc. Its a small space though so keep that in mind.
Shout out to Jason for being chill af
Great selection! Prices were a little high but the items were in great condition. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back.
Great staff and awesome sales prices! I got lots of great name brands today. Lucky Brand and Nike to name a few!
WAY overpriced for used clothing. Oddly and unexplainably selective about which items can be re - sold. Go to Rerun or Village Merchants instead to sell your stuff, and for fair prices.
This is a nice little 2nd hand store that offers a wide variety of styles. Some items are a little pricey, but then your next item is on sale, so it all works out. Friendly staff, organized pretty well.
I've sold clothes at this Buffalo Exchange many times! They have fair pricing, though it sometimes depends on the person doing the buying. They always have a lot of clothing and shoes, and have some especially fun Halloween items during the fall. The clothes are always clean, and I can always find something that I like! It's a really good place to shop for flannel shirts and oversized sweaters. Sometimes they even have discounted Dr. Martens.
Review for buying, not selling clothes. Love the NYC location, and Portland did not disappoint. I came from out of town looking for jeans and some unique items. Service from Sam and Maya was wonderful, friendly and supportive. I was shopping alone so needed help. They were honest and were definitely not pushing me to buy whatever, rather trying to help find pieces that would actually look natural on me. Thanks for a fun time! Found some really cool stuff here.
It's crazy claustrophobic in here and the staff is rather rude and condescending at times. Some great clothes though.
Made some good finds here. Was impressed by the amount of selection for both men and women and shoes! Stuff here is more expensive than other 'thrift', 'used', or 'vintage' shops though. Staff was pretty good and friendly.
Fast and friendly service but they barely took anything. Hard to find what they're looking for to buy.
A decent selection of clothes lots of plain and basic things for prices you could find at just a regular store
The girls who work here aren't horrible, but they just don't know good customer service. I've worked as a waitress, and I've had my fair share of customers. But I was always nice because I was getting paid to be nice! I was ignored, while waiting right in front of them holding items I wanted to purchase. I'm pretty sure she was a manager. Or at least she acted like she ran the show. I'm sure they aren't all like that. Overall needs some work on service!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! Ifounf some very great pieces, better than any of the stores I checked out around the area. Got asked where my outfit was from a few times that day. Service was pretty good, they just let you shop and ocassionally ask if you need assistance finding anything.
I’ve brought in a suitcase full of clothes to sell to them. They only took 2 shirts and gave me only an option of either $7 in cash or $12 in store credit. When the girl at the selling counter looked at some sunglasses I was trying to sell, she said “They’re in great condition, but they’re not in style” and rejected them. I wasn’t surprised as I know that the staff are finicky hipsters. Buffalo Exchange isn’t all that and a bag of chips in my opinion.
Crowded. Not enough space to walk freely. I think overpriced items. Down in Bay Area its much cheaper.
Brought in like 25 GOOD items.the lady (not super friendly and pretty forward saying "your items aren't in style and they aren't good quality" yet they were from like nordstrom.said she would only take like 8 of them and pay me 18$, DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE RIP OFF! VERY UPSET, i dont even know how their business is still running and why people give them clothes.sell elsewhere!
Bought $118 Pilcro and the Letterpress for $12/ Joie Skirt $102 online for $13/ Treasure & Bond Sweater $65 for $9.00
Absolutely loved it!
Honestly, don't try bringing your clothes here to sell they rip you off and they're unfair with their pricing. Big waste of time don't even bother.
Great selection of second hand clothes that are reasonably priced. The staff is very nice and helpful when it comes to styling outfits!
