Burrito Vaquero reviews
30TERRIBLE OLD INGREDIENTS TASTE IS BLAND There are other restaurants in the area way better like el paraiso in canyon villa is superb Mexican food but this place is terrible the cheese doesn’t melt in their quesadilla the chicken taste like months old
Great take out dinner! We ordered the Pork Carnitas and it was amazing! So flavorful and had chunky veggies added into the recipe! 5 stars!
Had to do a walk up order they were fast and courteous, would go back right now. Food was homemade and delicious!
Believe the hype! I have been to Mexico and experienced the cuisine and this place was as good or better.
The food here is decent, but nothing spectacular, and when paying $10 for a burrito, you can bet my expectations are going to be high, but I was let down. The size of the burrito is also pretty small compared to most, but my main complaint is how over zealous the prices are compared with quality of food. The creamy green pabolano sauce is super tasty though!
The food is the best and the portions are good too! However the place is a tad small and due to the yummy food it gets full really quick. You will have to wait for seating but well worth the wait. I would strongly suggest to order ahead of time and then pick it up.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Roseburg. It's near the Fred Meyer off exit 125. The burritos are massive and delicious. The mole is very good as well. They don't have a huge selection of beer but it is a great place to go sit down and eat. The funny thing about this place is you can sit down and the inside atmosphere would be like a regular authentic restraunt, but then they have a drive through. Go check it out and please like my post.
If you're looking for true authentic food, this is the place. All I need is for them to have gorditas. The burritos are bomb!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is out of this world good.
It's a small restaurant, but veryy cute inside and well taken care of.
Staff is always nice, there's often a woman making fresh tortillas in the corner and gives them out among guests.
There's a drive through as well! I highly recommend.
Make sure togrt the guac!
The food was delicious and I've only heard rave reviews so maybe it was an off night. Everyone was very nice but I was there for almost two hours and went without a drink the last 40 minutes and instead of asking if I wanted a box for the Last half of my food my plate was just taken away and dumped. To bad the food was great and I would have enjoyed the rest later in the evening.
I received a special serving of their pico, w/o asking for it.made me feel special because no one else was offered! I must have fit the profile for HOT
This place began with a simple menu of a few burritos many years ago. It has evolved into a full service Mexican restaurant that serves some amazing dishes. Good cervesa and tequila selections only make things more fun. Try the Pollo a la Mexicana! The only downside is that it's a very small space, but I guess that lends itself to making new friends.
My entree was delicious. My sides were barely warm, though, and service was rather slow. I would be willing to try this restaurant again, but would hope for a better experience next time.
What a wonderful place to eat! Wonderful staff, excellent food, reasonable prices! So glad we stopped! The BEST chile replenishing I have ever eaten, and I try them at every mexican restaurant. Wished we li ed closer, we would eat here at least once a week!
My kids loved watching the gal making fresh tortillas and then getting to take some back to their table. The food is great and well priced. The ambiance was friendly and colorful. The staff was responsive and down-to-earth. Next time we stop through Roseburg this will be our place.
They always do you right here, in the unassuming city of Roseburg. It should be no wonder that a place as consistently busy as Burrito Vaquero is really that good; the real question is what are you doing in Roseburg in the first place? At any rate, when in Rome, Burrito Vaquero is the place. Large plates, HOT food, and reasonably priced, their customer service is top notch and proper nods to the tortilla lady in the back who knows how powerful her role really is.
The chips were fresh and the homemade tortillas were great! Unfortunately the cheese dip was cold, the burrito was cold and there were two whole Bay leaves in it. Table next to us got beef instead of chicken.
So authentic, with excellent Mexican food to boot! This is our new favorite restaurant, run by a staff that knows about work ethic.
Heck yes! This place is great! Now please understand that this is a converted gas station so it's crowded and you may have to wait but it's sooo worth it. Everything the five of us had was really authentic an the hand made tortillas truly made my year!
Well done all
We waited an hour for our food and it never came. They had a terrible attitude and no explanation. DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!
