Aura and her staff took care of both my mother-in-law, then nine months later it was a simple decision to place my mother in her care. Beyond a lovely home, Aura is a kind, caring, and compassionate person who has an amazing ability to care for our loved ones. Aura understands the complexities of each individual’s care needs; she creates an individually crafted care plan then implements it flawlessly. I don’t know how our family could have traveled the roads we did without her. Simply put she is an angel on earth.

My mom was a resident of Casa Shattuck from June 2023 until her passing in September 2023. I chose Casa Shattuck based on the compassionate and professional care my mom and I observed over the prior 18 months while visiting mom’s very dear friend, who is a current resident. I had no hesitation in moving my mom to this home when she reached a point of needing additional daily assistance. The staff is loving and treats the residents with respect. Aura went above and beyond to ensure my mom’s transition from her own home to Casa Shattuck was as stress-free as possible. Aura regularly adds extra enjoyment, such as musicians and bingo, and supports the residents as they entertain visitors. The home is immaculate, the food is homemade and tasty, and the rooms are spacious studio suites with personal bathrooms. Family and friends are welcome at any time. I was deeply moved by the love extended to me and my family as we cared for my mom during her last days of life.

Aura hand picks her caregivers carefully using her extensive experience in this field. Together, they are a unified group with my mom's every need addressed. Though my mom's time here was brief, as it was her wish to find her passage from her own home as the end nears, the care, the commitment, the consideration at Casa Shattuck exceeded all expectations. Aura and her crew are professional but the care is personal and the home is excellent.
