This is amazing that has free coffee free hot chocolate all kinds of free drinks and a nice vending machine while you're waiting to take care of your animals.
Speedy service and they're very kind and polite.

This is not a 24 hour emergency vet. I called to take my cat in needing emergency care on Saturday and was told no emergency vet available until Monday. This facility should not claim to be 24 hour emergency vet if its not available for 24 hour emergencies.

They are the most compassionate and professional service I have ever experienced in my 74 years

They did little to nothing for my dog didnt even see the huge cut along side hit toung after explaining he had a stick break while playing n he was acting like he was in pain. Its over an hour away as is but they didn't even give me his meds I had to drive 3 hours total to get his meds the next day. They don't seem to care because I still have yet to recieve a email with my bill! Find another emergency vet for ur animal!

Update- I am very pleased with my experience here Being stressed about my pet made me a bit impatient but after speaking with the caring staff and being refunded for test that wasnt needed I can say that yes I would definitely recommend this emergency vet clinic to anyone who cares about their pet. But bring your patience please because with everyone playing catch up after the pandemic it can take a min to figure stuff out just know that they do care! Thx for caring for my Lulu! Took my 1 year old dog here all of the staff were very kind to us. It did take awhile 4-5hours actually but being an emergency vet I knew we were in for a wait.they provide drinks and it's in a beautiful wooded area.

I had to take my senior cat to the emergency vet, and unfortunately, he wasn't able to be treated without a lot of pain and suffering, if it even helped. His prognosis wasn't good at all, and we were heartbroken! The staff was great and supportive, and I really liked the vet! She let us know all our options and answered all our questions as we weighed our options for Sampson. This was my greatest fear for him when I saw he was sick, as I knew it wasn't good. After talking all our options over, we decided the best thing for him was euthanasia. They made a horrible situation the best it could have been and were there for us every step of the way. I definitely recommend Cascade Vet & Emergency Hospital and will use them again if any of my other animals need emergency care. My sweet boy was a rescue and declawed when I got him, but he is free to climb trees now and bask in the sun all day long! We all miss him so much, even the other animals! Luckily my dog came with us and was able to go inside and say goodbye before he passed, which I really appreciate them allowing!

I took my aunt's cat who had been severely injured by a cat bite to Cascade Veterinary Refferal Center and they did such a wonderful job nursing him back to health. He was a completely different cat after we got him back, he was so much more playful and happy and I cannot show enough gratitude to the entire staff and team there. Not only did they save my cat's life, but mine as well. I was very worried about his health but they did everything they could to make sure he was gonna make it through. Thank you so much again, you guys are the best!

The technicians and staff were so friendly and great with my dog. The vet was really professional and made me feel that my my dog would be in great hands with her tore CCL. I would really recommend them.

My cat went into heart failure and had to cross the rainbow bridge, the vet and techs who supported me and my cat in our last moments were compassionate and I cannot explain how the veterinarian supported me. She was so nice but not in a fake way, just authentically herself and I knew she cared. This was the worst day of my life, but these people were extremely supportive in this process. I just got a sympathy card from them signed from all the employees there today in the mail.

So angry and frustrated with this place. I took my dog in after a raisin ingestion, they made me call poison control to see what the recommendation was. Red flag right away. First of all, shouldn’t the vet already know how to treat this?
Luckily, I got my dog in within an hour and they took him back pretty quickly to induce vomiting. I then proceeded to wait for a really long time for the vet to come in to chat after apparently being on the phone with poison control for over an hour. She basically just told me the recommendation is to keep him for 48 hours for continuous IV fluids and for 2 blood work tests. And they wanted $5,000. For some saline water and two sets of blood work. She didn’t give me any other options, and didn’t even come back out to speak with me after I said I couldn’t do the 48 hour hospitalization.
I had other questions, and the receptionist kept phoning to the back to speak with the vet……. Such a scam and SO unprofessional. I called another urgent care vet and they said if I went there it would be approximately $1,000. I pray my dog will be ok after this incident and I’m kicking myself for not calling around to a few places and getting an estimated quote beforehand.

The staff here were so dismissive and not caring at all.

The wait was 2 hours at 5am on a Sunday. Probably to be expected. The staff support; vet and techs were kind coupled with cost was outstanding. So fortunate for their location and services. Our Chihuahua got the care she needed and we trust their evaluation and treatment was appropriate to the situation.

Exceptional clinic. Quick, conscious receptionist, technicians and veterinarians. I’ve had bad experiences with emergency vets pushing high cost diagnostics, but this clinic was understanding and straightforward. Not cheap by any means, but I was walked through options and payment plans and my puppers came out a-okay on a scary Sunday.

My vet didn’t have the resources to properly diagnose a mass on my dogs leg. I reached out about a CT Scan and the front desk was so helpful. They gave me a list of vets in the area who could provide the service and then called MULTIPLE times to check in and see if we found anyone. We ended up taking our dog here and I’m so happy we did. They were extremely nice and sympathetic. They were clear in the diagnosis, and extremely clear explaining possible solutions. They have been so kind to me and my dog. As an anxious dog momma, I left wishing this could be my forever vet.

We took our young cat here after he had a seizure late in the evening. Everyone we encountered was very professional and helpful.

I needed to take my dog here, as my local (wonderful!) coast vet didn't have the facilities needed to effectively diagnose and remove a mammary mass. The clinic was able to quickly fit me in, the vet/surgeon Dr. Moore talked to me clearly and openly about her diagnosis and my options, and they fit my dog in for the next available surgery appointment. Understanding that I didn't want to leave her overnight if I didn't have to, they did her surgery early in the day, monitored her recovery, and then released her later that day with clear discharge instructions. The surgery also came in less than the estimate (less than the low end) when it ended up being more straightforward than expected. Emergency surgery is never going to be fun or inexpensive, but CVRC were fantastic when I needed them.

I called ahead to see what the wait time was at 9pm. My dog had gotten into dark chocolate sometome in the afternoon/ early evening. They said 1.5-2 hours and yes they has space if I needed to leave my dog overnight. We arrived and he got right in. The lobby was closed since it was after 7pm. No worries just sitting in the car prepared to wait. He was inside close to an hour. I had several calls from the vet and staff letting me know what they felt he needed and a treatment plan. They took my payment by phone and brought him back out. It was less than 2 hours and we were back home to Hillsboro. Nice vet and her staff.

I have already decided it was a lot faster then going to the other emergency vet we have seen in the past. The other emergency vet told me they did not have space to hold my dog overnight and he would have to be sent somewhere else. There wait time was several hours long. Already gave my family this is the place to take them while we are away on vacation.

I took my 13-year-old Yorky to Cascade veterinary on the weekend in the middle of the night. They took him in immediately Treated him like he was their own and when I got the bill it was less than half of what I thought I was going to have to pay! Which was a nice surprise.
