Cascade West Grub & Alehouse reviews
11It has a very easy going atmosphere, friendly bartenders, gambling, pool tables, a juke box, sounds like fun to me!
Bartender accused me of having a fake ID and when I asked why he thought so he gave me a generic excuse of being able to see light through the sides of it. Regardless of the various other verification holograms that he said could be faked.
Y’all need to teach your bartenders how to properly read IDs and maybe you wouldn’t have so many issues with the OLCC, that’s coming from a bartender with an OLCC. It’s embarrassing to have to deal with that sort of incompetence.
Jessie and Mandy are incredible. This is the place to be in Bend. From a 10 year seasoned bartender I couldn't ask for anything more.
I was with my little brother this weekend and the bartender would not serve to him due to his ID looking "suspicious". I was appalled because one I'm a bar manager in Florida and was visiting my little brother who is also a bartender and we have years of experience in the industry. My little brother was not allowed to drink but my ID was okay? , but we obviously didn't stay due to the experience. The bartender even threatened to take his ID away from him. They didn't have a scanner to make sure his ID was legit (which is a requirement in every state before a bartender is EVEN ALLOWED to take someone's ID). What's ridiculous about all of this is my brother is 26! Not a great experience at all, and I would advise management to train their bartenders accordingly or just serve food.
I absolutely prefer the "dive bar" vibe to sports bars and cocktail lounges. I do like sports and cocktails, but it all comes down to the atmosphere for me. This place was an oasis in the desert of corporate Bend. Their selection of beers on tap was strong on IPAs, which is another massive plus. I ordered a 4-piece fried chicken and jo-jo potatoes.it was incredible. Crispy skin, juicy andvtender meat, potatoes that were fluffy on the inside. Sure, it came with some dipping sauces, but it really didn't need them. The fry sauce was hard to resist, though.just a hint of horseradish!
Service was super solid. The bartenders took excellent care of me. They had knowledge of their taps and never left me dry.
I had three pints and half a chicken, yet the price was super affordable.
This place is what it is and for those of us who enjoy it, it's perfect. It's dim, it's loud, the beers are cold and the drinks are strong. Best chicken strips I've ever had.
This is a regular Joe's after work watering hole. If that's not what you're looking for, go to ten barrel.
The bartender Alan and his dad JC skipped my music on the juke box. Oh and there was a shooting/stabbing last weekend.
Great place to get a beer and a game of pool the people are genuine. And accommodate all travelers to ones needed. Much appreciated and much love Another wonderful Memory d*** she was pretty. ️.
Need more servers. They have one person trying to cover the whole place and he clearly has his favorites.
For locals, you know what to expect when you come in here. For out of towners, usually an experience.
Great for what it is, go in expecting a rowdy atmosphere and cheap drinks and you won't be disappointed. High end cuisine and cocktail to elsewhere
