If there were a 10 Star Rating I would give that to Them! During this crazy time not being able to accompany my 9 year old lab into a new clinic was pretty hard on me. Yet from my initial call to set an appointment to meeting staff in the parking lot to hand of my dog and I felt nothing but comfortable! Even my Lab Floyd seemed to know he was in caring hands. While waiting in the parking lot it wasn't long before I received a call from the Vet that examined him. She was very thorough with her exam and presented me with all options for his care. Dr. Allison is a very caring and compassionate Vet and spoke to me like a real human and not just another number. I will recommend this clinic to all friends and family. Also I felt their charges were very reasonable.

Dr. Kelly is very knowledgeable as well as kind in treating our elderly dog, Daisy. She always explains what she sees as Daisy's problems, what she thinks is the best solution, what the cost will be and if I agree before following through on care. I appreciate her kind, astute and professional manner.

First of all, my pup and I have followed Dr. Kelly from her previous practice because she provides such excellent care. She looks at each situation holistically and always makes an effort to start with a natural approach (herbs, etc) to help my pup work through any injuries and illnesses. Every problem that has stumped other vets, she has been able to solve quickly by treating the root of the issue rather than the symptoms. Dr. Kelly is also just so friendly and thoughtful in her practice, no matter how busy her day is.

Secondly, the tech and front desk staff at Cathedral Animal Hospital have been SO kind and welcoming. They’re responsive, thorough in their communication, and have really made going to the vet in COVID times feel as comfortable as possible.

Would highly recommend this group of lovely humans to support you and your pets!

Every member of the Cathedral Animal Hospital is a highly skilled professional and compassionate care taker. Being able to fully trust a team with the furry creatures that are our worlds is so seamless with this place. As soon as you walk in you understand these are people who really care and just want to do what's best for your animal family. Easily THE MOST IMPRESSIVE CLINIC IN THE PNW! Doctor Lindsey and her team are legends and have proven over and over again what the standard of an amazing veterinarian clinic should be.

Hands (and paws) down the best “Dogtor’s” office ever! From the receptionist (shout out Nic!) to the wonderful assistants (Wendy, Emily and several other lovelies) to Dr. Lindsay herself! Professional, compassionate and somehow also prompt at a time where everything seems to go snails pace. I don’t know how they do it? ! But I love it! So much love for these wonderful people! Thanks CAH! ️

We have come to Kenton and Cathedral Animal Hospitals with our elderly dog who has a LOT of health issues. The vets and the staff have been so helpful, kind, and thoughtful with our dog Rue. The vets have taken so much time to answer our questions and make a plan with us that we feel comfortable with. The staff and techs have been so friendly offering personal advice of assistive devices and dog booties that they have used for their animals. We are so so grateful for the incredible care of our dog and also the personal attention we have gotten as dog owners.

We will bring all of our pets here as long as we are in Portland and refer all of our friends to them as well. We are so thankful to all the staff here who has made a hard situation with a sick older pup as easy as possible.

Took my elderly cat for a specific ailment. We discussed his condition on the phone from the parking lot. Bree came to the car to take him inside. I waited in the car while Dr. Kelly examined him. Then we spoke on the phone about the diagnosis and treatment. Bree brought him back to the car. This was a little weird, but worked out just fine. My cat is doing well.

We had our first ever visit with our first ever pet, a 7 week old kitten, Bruce Wayne. All this in the midst of the pandemic (they were very safe). They were kind and patient with us. They treated Bruce so well during his first checkup, shots, and nail trimmings. He didn’t seem traumatized or anything, just same old Bruce. We thank Dr. Kelly and her staff and we are happy to call CAH our home veterinarian for Bruce Wayne!

Just got back from an unexpected visit for my older dog KayKay. They were taking all the necessary precautions for the current social distancing orders but were still very helpful and super professional in the process. Dr. Lindsey was great and I hope this is my new vet here in town.

BTW. It looks like most of the bad reviews are for an old vet's office that used to occupy the same building.

We’ve tried at least 4-5 vets in Portland and Cathedral is the best (we go to the St. John’s location). Everyone is extremely nice and genuine and they very obviously care about my dog. We’ve been up sold many times at other vets and I really appreciate how transparent and honest they are about everything. It’s very refreshing!

Wonderful vets and staff - very compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. Everything I want in a vet. Wouldn’t trust my pup with anyone else. I love this place (and Kenton Animal Hospital too)!
Also, just an fyi that this is a completely new clinic and vet practice as of a few months ago, so the reviews for the old clinic (Companion?) are obsolete.

FYI, this is a totally new business, and the old reviews don’t apply. We won’t take our dogs to anywhere but Cathedral or Kenton Animal Hospital. Same great people — they’re magical.

The only place I'll bring my pets. I trust this clinic and their sister clinic in Kenton with the health and well being of my pets.
