Cedar Street Laundry, North Bend OR

Couldn't use it because you have to load money onto one of their cards and when I put money in it said it was out of new cards. Also about 10% of the machines is out of order/broken. Went to freedom laundry instead and it took coins and had way more machines for cheaper

I have been going to Cedar Street Laundry for almost a year and I am sad to say that it has fallen into a state of disrepair.

When I first started coming here, the machines worked, the location was clean and quiet, the prices albeit high, were on par for the area, and the card loader, although requiring cash and being proprietary, worked consistently.

Over the past few months, slowly machines started receiving out of order signs. The dryers became problematic, with only a few actually accepting money. And I noticed that the place was just getting dirtier and dirtier.

Then last month, the card loader and the prepaid cards started failing on me. It started when I loaded 5 dollars, the minimum amount for 1 wash, on a card, and I could not get it to work on a machine. I knew the machine was working because people before and after me were using the same machine I was struggling with. I ended up biting the 5 dollars, throwing away the defective card, and loading another. This happened two more times. When I brought up the issue to the worker, she said there was nothing she could do about it.

Then a couple days ago, I went in at around 7pm. The one nice thing about Cedar Street is that it stays open until 10 and my work schedule makes it tough to do laundry elsewhere. When I go in, the card machine was just straight up out of order. And because the cards are proprietary, that essentially meant the whole laundromat was out of order. It was still broken when I returned yesterday.

In summary, only 25 percent of the machines work, and that's IF you can even get money into them. The location is falling apart, and I no longer feel like I can support this buisness. Which is a shame because I really used to like it.

Don't get scammed, go somewhere else.

Very clean, machines work well. Only two downsides. Quite a few of the machines marked out of order (awaiting repair), not the fault of management. Second is it requires a little money card you get at the laundromat, but you load it with cash, and no ATM close (again, not fault of owners). So make sure you bring cash (not coins), machine takes $1, $5, $10, $20.

My place for laundry. Cheapest in town! Some issues with the machines being out of order but it is what it is!

The place is always clean, & and quiet. I've never had to wait for a machine. However often the laundry cards do not work in the machines without finageling it. The water sometimes has a smell, but not always.
Like everywhere its expensive.

Do not use this laundry. Machines are Jenky to the point of frustration. You should be able to go into a business and not lose money. This place works on their cash card only that you have to load up. The machine does not give you your excess money back nor do they carry a monetary value.

Avoid at all costs better off stinking or doing the clothes in the river.

Broken down washers and dryers! No one one duty! Cards to use for service do not work! Lost alot of money from 3 times visited!

Clean and well maintained. Staff are always on site and attentive. Only place in town so well run.

Everytime I've went there they were out of cards. Don't think I'll make attempt 3!

If a card needs to be used then PLEASE make sure the damn thing works or is refundable, or credit don't expire. Tired of throwaway cards with money on them
