We rented from Centerpoint for almost 5 years before buying our house. It was the best rental experience, we had a yearly inspection, it was very easy. Management was very friendly, I would highly recommend them.

I rented from them for several months and had nothing but issues with them. I was consistently talked down to and every person there was increadibly ageist. When I gave my 30 days notice I was subject to further attempts at humilation through comments about my age such as, "Young people just can't handle living in their own sometimes". I found this incredibly rude and unprofessional. The unit I rented was poorly maintained prior to me moving in. I had to ask repeatedly for repairs and maintenance. Often these requests were never addressed at all despite my efforts. I was also made to pay for another tenants utilities without them disclosing this information to me prior to my moving in, which is not only shady but illegal as well. There needs to be a serious restructuring of the management and attitudes of the people working here towards their tenants.

Terrible customer service. Very short and rude over the phone and in person as well. I had to go through my employer because they needed more paystubs and when I came back with them less than an hour later, they told me the place I was looking at had already been rented out and that I can have my application and background check fee back. They didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted to apply for the other 2 rentals in my price range, basically they asked me to leave. After my experience and recent conversation with a co worker that rented 2 properties from center point I'm confident that I will never rent from them
