Outstanding service! Two technicians came out during a freezing rain event to repair a broken spring. They didn’t have correct part but were able to apply a temporary fix. Jonathan came out later and had new spring installed in less than 30 minutes. Thanks to all involved for being on time and professional!

The team (Dwight and Guy) that repaired our garage door was very professional and efficient. They gave us good adequate notice of arrival. They also reviewed possible future issues and repaired them with quality and safety. The team even safeguarded the Added braces on the panels to eliminate any sharp edges. They took the time to review prices on repairs prior to making any adjustments and were very educated in the decision-making process.

Central Oregon Garage Door has installed my two garage doors in 2015 and has always responded quickly and professionally in maintaining the service on my doors. Most recently i had short on my inside garage controller. Salvador the technician was prompt and was able to diagnose and repair in a very timely fashion. I was impressed with his courteousness and professional manner.

I first met Salvador when he was servicing a neighbor's garage door and saw that he was who I needed for mine. It took a couple of months to get him here (I guess he is in high demand). Top notch diagnosis of problems and honest, reasonable repair work. 100 percent recommended.

I so appreciated next day service on the weekend at holiday time. Otherwise, we could not open our garage door due to a broken spring.

Service man was informative, quick and pleasant to work with.

He did say I would be getting an estimate for the fixes the garage site needs, but I haven't seen one yet.

I recently used Central Oregon Garage Door for an addition on my home. I ordered the doors through them and had them installed via COGD.
The customer service was, in some ways, good but I don’t feel like it made up for the many errors that were made on my project as well as the company’s work causing me an extra bill from my electrician that they will not reimburse.
- My garage doors were installed when I was ready for them, however upon having them installed I realized that the wrong color was ordered and installed. I have the email showing the color that I requested (oak) however an orangey cedar color was installed.
- COGD worked hard to make it right, however we had to wait another 2-3 months to get the color we had originally ordered.
- We worked closely with our electrician through the process. There was one point when he was working with us where he questioned us why COGD had wired the doors the way they did. We aren’t electricians or garage door installers so we shrugged it off.
- After the electrician completed his work (making sure there was power running to the garage door motor) we realized that the doors would not open. We could see that there was power to the motor, however no power to the sensors to actually open the door.
-I contacted my rep to let him know that I would like this remedied and fingers were immediately pointed to the drywallers, insulation crew and electrical messing it up. I would assume that the garage door installers would take proper steps to ensure that the wires were not exposed in a way that the drywallers would be able to run a screw through the wires?
- COGD adamantly insisted that this was not their problem so I had to hire an electrician to come back to troubleshoot. The electrician again found no errors on his side, but that the sensors were not wired to the motor
correctly.
- Ultimately COGD came back and ran the wires from the motor to sensors on the outside of our wall. Not an ideal scenario for a new build but really our only option unless we wanted to rip holes in our walls and re-run the wires under the drywall. Being a new build, I am not stoked about having wires running down the outside of our walls it it was the easiest solution and frankly I’m over this.
- I sent COGD the bill for the electrician to come back to troubleshoot the problem and there is nothing but radio silence. Which is funny because when it came time for me to fork over the $9000+ to pay for this they were RIGHT THERE ready to take my money.
I feel that I’m being pretty generous with my 2 stars, however when the service was there it was good. However I would not use this company again nor would I recommend them.

Wow! The Central Oregon Garage Door team made two wonderful wood doors for my house. They built the door with tongue and groove panels, stained all sides of the boards, stained the back of the door, and installed doors with 1/2-inch glass. They operate with a super quiet direct drive lift. Fine workmanship, terrific installation, and great customer service. What more could you want?

Excellent and professional service from the initial phone call to the job being accomplished. New circuit board, new wall button, and exterior opener. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Thank you!
