Cherry City did a great job helping us find and coordinate a living room carpet and helped with binding the edges. They have a huge selection of floorings and saved us a ton of time by taking us right to the styles we were looking for.

Love this place! Love the price! Love the quality! I am not a professional carpenter or installer. Cherry city was able to help and guide me to the correct product for the correct application. I would of been wrong with my google decisions that I originally showed up to purchase. Everyone I talked to during my visit was super helpful! Even the loading dock. Good Job Guys! So glad we skipped Home Depot!

If I could give zero stars I would. After talking with one of the owners (Seth), their designer (Jenn) lied from the outset regarding their services. After almost five months, we never got a bid.

Started talking with them in early November and they gave a very good first impression. We wanted to remodel a room with a laundry closet and half bath into a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and had asked if they could act as project managers which they confirmed in the first email back, "I am both a designer and project manager so I will be able to help you on both.you get to enjoy the ride and we take care of scheduling and project management! "

They backtracked just about every promise, lost measurements, forgot aspects of the project, and about two-week-long delays in email responses where they wouldn't answer direct questions. Gave them the benefit of the doubt during the holidays but the trends in communication continued afterward.

The highlights:
- Promised project management and then backtracked 2 months later saying "I'm pretty much out of the process" and "This will be a mostly [contractor] thing, I'm just your design end for finishes"
- Promised 3d designs/drawings "You'll be getting a 3D rendering for that to approve" and then backtracked a month later when we asked about it "3D renderings are an extra design fee" and even then it sounds like that would have just been the vanity: "If a complete rendering of your vanity is something that you are interested in"
- The master bedroom parts of the project were suddenly considered extra: "[The contractor] can speak to the budget of all those extra things being added into the budget"
- What really killed it was that the contractor provided by the designer didn't understand their license and found out they couldn't do the job after almost 5 months of planning, having subcontractors visit, various onsite meetings, etc.

We held out because we had faith in the contractor even with the designer backtracking since the contractor seemed more engaged in the project and was working with us, but the licensing news just killed it - along with the subsequent call with the owner confirming the designer lied to us about their services. According to Seth, we "misunderstood" their services and their employee only provided an "impression" she would do the above services. You can judge for yourself but for us, it was too good to be true.

Cherry City has a really nice variety of flooring to choose from. Their staff was super helpful with any questions I had. The crew who came to remove the old flooring and install the new one was very professional and did a great job with the installation.

Cherry City has lots to chose from and friendly staff to help you find what you need. Our carpeting project got ordered and installed right on schedule. Big shout out to the installers who did an excellent job!
