Great place to have breakfast. Their options were all good. The cabanas outside worked out great with the provided heater.

We were asked to wait a few minutes to take the next available table after we were next on their waiting list but had to stand inside the entrance for close to 20 minutes before we got seated. This wasn't a great experience but the food was 5/5.

Visited Portland for 5 days and ended up here twice for breakfast. Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Place was busy but for two people we were able to get a table no problem.

I was hoping for a good dining experience. I ordered the buscuits and gravy to be delivered. It arrived hot and when I opened my plate, the stuff was inedible. It was dry and did not seem fresh at all. Most likely microwaved. I took a picture of it because this place seemed to be good. Never again.

New favorite breakfast place in Portland. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Extensive gluten free and vegetarian options. Best of the best were beignets and Portuguese Rice. We sat outside in the covered areas. They do run heaters. Inside has great ambiance too.

Very good. I had the crab Benedict. Their Hollandaise was quite creamy. Service was some.of the absolute BEST I've experienced since COVID hit.

Thanks Mercedes for making our visit so nice. We loved you.

Great food and great service! Very friendly and ordered multiple dishes to try since there were so many options and couldn't just pick one.

We're hooked on Cheryl's for breakfast during our weeklong Portland stay. We've tried oatmeal, house-made granola, veggie egg scramble, and "French toast" made with challah. Many options and add-ons to suit various tastes. They have several heated huts for outside dining if you are not comfortable with the fairly close table spacing indoors. Service is friendly and efficient.

This place is good but not great based on the pricing. The service is good, the ambience is good, and no complaints overall but also nothing outstanding.

Also, the $1.75 charge per table doesn't make sense; yes businesses have costs and that's how you price your items. You don't simply keep adding surcharges to the bills, that doesn't make sense. If you are trying to make a political or philosophical point, then the restaurant menu isn't really a good venue for it. I come here for food, not philosophical debates. I think this alone deserves a one star lower rating.

Green chili & chorizo omelet was fantastic! They do put corn flakes on top of their hashbrowns so if you don't like that be sure to request no corn flakes. I got my food to go so the corn flakes were mushy & not good on the hashbrowns. Might be better if eaten in the restaurant when they're still crispy.

Food needed a lot of help and service was almost non-existent. Definitely not worth the wait.

I had a solid 25 minute wait for a table of 1 on a Sunday at 9am. They have outdoor seating in a little heated shack in front of the place but this Georgia-based foodie definitely chose inside.

This place was so hectic, I had three different people try to serve me beignets. Either a manager or an AM took my order. I otherwise had no interaction with a single server. I had no idea who was assigned my table until someone rung me out. (But the name on the ticket was someone who was not even here when I first came in so I'm not going to put him on blast.) By contrast, the table next to me had several check-ins with their server, who even talked to them about handing their table to another server while she went on lunch. The new one then had several check-ins and talked about how the first had mad love for the table. He was the same server as I ended up having; the level of service was way different.

When someone finally came to get my order I went ahead and ordered the drink and food. I got a Portland Breakfast black tea (very hot water, a major plus) with almond milk (never came).

I ordered the Portuguese Fried Rice with an over easy eggs, no green onions, and add jalapeños. The egg came out right and no onions. The portion of rice was huge, easily two portions for me, but did not really have much flavor. With the jalapeños and some cholula, it had more flavor.
