Chiefs Brew House reviews
14This charming victorian mansion is now home to a bar & grill. You’ll find American favorites & BBQ.
The wings are absolutely horrible. I've had them the last four times. They are way overcooked and very dried out. The skin is stuck to the bone. My 3-year-old couldn't even eat it. I don't normally leave negative reviews. Everything else has been really good except for the wings. If they could figure out how not to overcook them. I do not recommend the wings at all.
Had Philly Steak sandwich with Tater Tots and Stout Beer, Delicious.
All team members I interacted with were professional and friendly.
I love this place! The pulled pork dry with a side of Carolina. I mean delicious and slaw! The absolute best. Definitely give it a try! The staff is always polite, friendly and they know my order!
After waiting 40 minutes for our food, including an appetizer, I went inside to check on our order and was told they were plating our food. When I asked why we hadn't gotten at least the appetizer, I was told again they are plating our food. I asked another question and she just turned and walked into the bar. When the first part of our meal was brought to our table, I said shouldn't the appetizer have came out first? Samantha's response was they only had 2 cooks in the kitchen. That would have been ok, as we all understand it is hard to hire staff now. But after she said that while walking away she said "deal with it, that is how stuff is now. " Really? That is how you "deal" with customers? We asked the young man that brought the rest of our food out for her name. Then she came very aggressively back to our table and gave us the managers name on a piece of paper. When questioned about her attitude towards us she said I rolled my eyes at her, which I do not believe happened as I understand short staffed, said it was a family owned business, and aggressively left. In a small town you assume the businesses are family owned, but I knew at that point it wouldn't do any good to call the manager. Family owned or corporation owned, you do not treat customers or people like that. Everyone has a bad day now and than, but don't take it out on customers. The whole thing was over an appetizer, which is the only thing I can recommend out of the whole meal, the pretzels and cheese. The rest of the food was not worth the $70 for 3 people.
Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant is very spacious with many in and outdoor places to sit. Our booth was a bit sticky in places but nothing napkins and water couldn't fix. We got a Cobb salad and the Coburger hamburger with tots. The food was real tasty!
Enjoyed a meal with friends, had the wings and fries, very good, love the setting of an older
house. Second time we have ate there, both time’s excellent. Has indoor and outdoor sitting.
Burgers are ok, but the buns don't hold up. Egg rolls were not up to par. Fairly expensive for the quality.
The food was fantastic and the outdoor seating was great! This past Sunday (7/9/23) was my first time here. I had the brisket sandwich and my partner had the the pulled pork sandwich.
Service was a bit hectic but everything else was fantastic.
I have yet to have a bad meal at Cheifs. "WOW" had the slider specail today. It was so good, if you put it on the top of your head your tongue would beat your brians out trying to get to it. The burger are great and the wait shaff is the best in town (Eugene/Springfield area). I never rate anything but I felt I owed it to them. Don't change anything your doing.
This place is AWESOME! The Chilli is great on a cool day and you're looking for something hearty to get you going. Love the SUPER MUG beers as well! Have eaten here several times and never had a bad meal.
A great fun 5 minute trip out of Eugene/Springfield to an awesome little town of antiques! Great shopping, then great food!
Fries were terrible. Everything else was pretty good. I'd suggest tots or onion rings and skip the fries. Little over priced for what it is.
Great BBQ lunch, loved the setting and food. Our meals were delivered quickly and everything was as ordered and delicious!
An absolute place to stop for a late lunch, food was outstanding as well as great beer! Staff was friendly and helpful and our doggie loved it!
