Child Eye Care Associates reviews
6Everyone was great. Very professional and took the time to explain options and procedures.
I developed double vision again as an adult after correcting this via exercises when I was little. Dr. Sophia Fang is a lovely human being AND an amazing doctor and surgeon. She operated on both of my eyes since the strabismus had become quite severe.
She and Sally treated me with prisms until the crossing became stable, she met with me in the hospital prior to surgery, and then got the job done for me when she operated.
The results are such a relief. I'm relaxed now when I drive, and my eyes just don't get fatigued. No double vision!
I can't recommend her highly enough! I was completely taken care of throughout this challenging experience.
We have been seeing Dr. Fang for the past 2 years, and Dr. Bavasi for the past year for contact lens fitting. Prior to going to Child Eye Care, it was extremely difficult to find pediatric ophthalmologists south of the PDX metro area where we lived to help with my daughter's pathologic myopia. Both doctors are very compassionate and patient, and never shied away from taking time in our visits to answer our many questions (and trust this helicopter mom when I say we have had MANY questions). My daughter had an unfortunate, terrible experience trying contacts fitting to control her myopia when she was 8 with another doctor (not at Child Eye Care), whose bad bedside manner really scared her away from trying for several years. Dr. Bavasi was able to get her to start wearing contacts that had shown to help control her myopia in the last 6 months. Dr. Fang is very knowledgeable with current research, gives great suggestions and is open to try different ways to help with my daughter. We also appreciate the doctors working together with an one-team focus on getting their patients great quality and continuation of care. Thank you, Dr. Fang and Dr. Bavasi!
Everyone is always so nice, such a pleasure coming in. AND Sally is so cute with that accent, love to hear her talk
Dr wheeler has seen Laityn since he was born and did his first ever (eye) surgery because of his prematurity. He has always been so good with Laityn (the Donald Duck voice always worked) along with the staff. You all are wonderful at what you do! I never mind the long drive or the possible traffic going home. It’s all worth it to see Dr.wheeler and his staff. You all are great and he loves his stickers!
Everyone here treated me with exceptional courtesy. Sally explained everything very thoroughly and understood my problems. She clarified what is happening to my eyes. Dr. Wheeler was easy to follow in his diagnosis and his possible choices of treatment for me. I was quite reassured and confident in my choice. Thank you!
